I went to the peter and paul fortress and thought it was a rally lovely place. It felt like a little oasis of calm in a large bustling city as there is no traffic. When we went there were a few of the museums shut, but we did go into the church which was pretty awesome. The tsars from Peter... more

You can't come to St. Petersburg and not visit Peter and Paul Fortress. I've been here several times--it's so large, each time there's always something new for me to check out. There's actually a lot of small museums and exhibits scattered throughout the fortress. The Cathedral is the main building to see. I'm amazed that so many emperor's are still... more
