Well worth a visit to see the interior. It is not a church per say so lacks the patina of age and incense! The building is of its time but the scale is what is magnificent. The exterior is best viewed with blue skies! Lots of stalls and buskers around. Mind your bags!

The Church catches your eye right from the moment you see its domes from Nevsky Prospect. The abundance of decoration makes you go inside the Church to reveal it is even more beautiful from the inside! Mosaics, majolicas, frescos - all these elements of the decoration impress you more and more as you pass through the Church.

Beautiful in day or night. Expecially at night when it is lit up. Like Paris, people put locks on the bridge there.

Fantastic piece of architecture & history all rolled into 1 building. A startling example of the division between the rich & the poor

Couldn't go inside -- the architecture was amazing!! Very worth while to drive by, at least. Must see. I'm not sure when it will be open. What you want to see in St. Petersburg!

Don't go to St. Petersburg and not see the inside of this church. It's incredible. The mosaics are stunning - simply stunning. The audio guide was well worth the price - and greatly added to our appreciation of the Church.

The Chruch of the Savior on blood is one of the main sites to be seen in St. Petersburg, Russia. The most appealing or another word would be interesting is that this church was built on the pool of blood of then the king Emperor Alexander II. The history of the place is beautiful and it is a must see.

We toured with ALLA Tours, and this was included in the itinerary. Admission was included, and our guide was very informative! Very crowded, but well worth seeing!
