This church had to be seen to be fully appreciated. The colors, detail and architecture are stunning. It's well worth the line up to get in. Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the artistry. Make sure you get to know the history of the site as well!

Worth a visit. The Mosaics are simply beautiful and it is amazing to see a church that is covered in them.

There are so may detailed reviews for this church but one should see by himself. I would like to add that our guide told us that it is totally covered with mosaics due to the high level of humidity since they are more durable than paintings .Also that it was built to look alike the church Ivan the Terrible built... Stunning and worth every ruble to go inside and see. The mosiac work inside is really intricate and very unique, and the Russian style of the outside of the church is so beautiful

This church is definitely a must see-place. The interior and decoration is something you won´t believe unless you see it in your own eyes. We went there during our last day of our trip to St. Petersburg. It's one of the best places in the town with a great overview over the city.

The church was included as part of a day tour to St. Petersburg and we were so glad it was on the itinerary. The exterior of the church is almost breath-taking - colourful, ornate, beautiful architectural details. Make sure you have a camera with you because you'll want to get pictures from every vantage point.
