A lot of history and a really breathtaking place. Beatiful mosaiks. Way too crowdy during the summer, so you will not be able to enjoy it completly. But for museum freaks this is a must place to visit. You can buy souvenirs there and you can pay with euros too :). Don't miss it!

A real astonishing church. Outside and inside overwhelming decorated. For me it was a top attraction of St. Petersburg. Really worth going there. Not very expensive to visit.

As a lover of churches, particularly those in Europe, this one is a must see. The beautiful colorful exterior and incredible interior rivals many of the churches in Western Europe and it's unique Russian flair makes is a delight. I am glad I had an 8GB chip as I took about 100 pictures!

What a site. This is the place you see on all the brochures for Russia. A do not miss. Try to go early as the crowds get worse as the day goes on.

Easy to appreciate the wonderful icon art and painting in the church, as well as its architecture resembling St. Basil's in Moscow. Worth getting the audioguide to learn about what was done. Having said that, the crowds were so thick at 3pm, it was busier than a rush hour subway car. Go late or go early, but do go to... More

Stunningly beautiful. We found our way to this beautiful landmark on numerous occasions during our stay in St. Petersburg (helped by the fact we were staying fairly close). The architecture, the colours, the mosaics... made for some beautiful photos, even for a point, click and hope for the best photographer like myself. On a warm summers day, the atmosphere around... This church is unlike any other I have visited. It seems that every interior wall is covered with nothing but mosaic tiles. The color art works are a wonder to behold. The church is not very large and was a bit crowded. Fortunately pictures are allowed inside. There is an interesting, small exhibit near the exit describing the rehabilitation work... More
