Good thing to do when you start your visit in St Petersburg is to climb (ab 200 staires) to the top and get a good view of the city. Unfortunately the inside was closed (on wednesdays) so we didn`t see that. More

It's my favorite place in St.Pete. Don't think too much of inside but it's definately worth visiting the tower if you dont have problems climbing stairs - nice view over City and square. More

Note that the French and Italian architects built most of St Pete and this is a great example. If you are expecting Russian architecture here you will not be pleased More

Words can't describe what the inside of this cathedral looks like. For an extra fee you can follow the winding stairs up to the collonade for some pretty impressive views around this part of Saint Petersburg More
