This is a touristy but fun immersion into Russian dance, music and singing. Great for kids, but get there early and sit in the front.

The show itself was good, entertaining and worth watching. it had a mix of singing and traditional dancing. the stage was strange with two large pillars at the front obstructing the full view from many angles. i don't think this place was designed originally to be a theatre.

This attraction was not cheap, but as we hadn't gone to any night shows, we decided to give this one a go. We loved it. The venue is an old palace which is in itself, beautiful. We went in towards the end of June and didn't experience the mass of tour groups that others have commented on. There were groups... More

We went to this show expecting it to be kitsch & really touristy - which yes, it was all about entertaining tourists, but it wasn't kitsch at all. From the singers to the dancers to the musicians we thought they were all terrific (beautiful costumes too) & seemed to be genuinely enjoying what they were doing. The palace is lovely,... More

We were not sure how it will be but nevertheless went ahead because sometimes these kind of shows disappoint. The hall is quiet small with tight seating and straight chairs. It started with folk music , followed by typical Russian dance and song which was quiet enjoyable. The performers seemed to be enjoying themselves and were full of energy.. In... More

Top class entertainment. This is no amateur show. From beginning to end the entertainment really shows you everything you would expect to see and hear at a Russian folk show . I really cannot rate this show highly enough. The location of the show is the Nikolayevsky Palace and what an entrance this alone is. Marble, a stately staircase and... More

may be this was not such a good idea to go and see this show after having seen the best ballerina of the Kirov company dance at the Marinsky theater. but after this performance attended by a rapt mostly russian audience, this one looked very touristy. The vocal quartet was good and so where the dancers. it was very joyous,... More

Fantastic surprisingly great show! We knew it would be touristy but who cares! Fabulous immersion into singing , wonderful dance, Cossacks and traditional. Excellent musicians. Just really fun and the performers were top class and looked like they genuinely enjoyed performing. Nice to have a drink and canapés at interval. Only problem was staff were not very friendly or welcoming..... More

This was a very good an entertaining show with typical Russian song and dance. The performers was very good. There was serving vodka and champagne in the intermission. The only problem is that the floor is flat so if you get a seat in the back rows you can have a problem to see all of the performers. It is... More

This is a professional and entertaining show. Sometimes these kinds of shows disappoint, but this one did not. There were 12 of us who attended, and each of us thought it was wonderful. The cast seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. The snacks served are nothing to rave about although. The Palace is gorgeous. They sell souvenirs... More
