I was surprised how good this show was. Expecting the usual touristy display, I found myself instead really enjoying the full 1.5hrs of dancing and singing. Very impressive and well worth it. Don't expect much re food mad drinks, but the show makes up for this.

The artists performed as if for the first time, lively and full of enthusiasm. The singing, dancing, balalaika band, costumes were all that you could wish for. Get there early to get a good seat, bring some money, there are free drinks and canapés but also items for sale including beautiful drawings of St Petersburg being sold for very little... More

The show was very good however it is open seating, so get there early. It’s an old theatre and the seats are all at the same level and the stage is not very high so it’s hard to see if you are not near the front. The other option is to sit in the last row where you can stand... More

If you are taking a private tour ask to ride the subway system. The ststions are unbelievable,There are carved crystal columns, chandeliers and and the walls are covered in marble. The people watching is also great.

We visited the Nikolaevsky Palace for 'Feel Yourself Russian' towards the end of our 2 week History tour of France, Switzerland and Europe. The boys had seen palaces, art, cathedrals galore during this time, and might be considered to have been suffering 'palace fatigue'. Versailles, Notre Dame, St Basil's, we had a very busy two weeks. We had only that... More

This is a Russian folk dance performance in the evening. We had champagne and caviar in the lobby before the performance. There were a variety of different dance routines in the show with colorful local costumes. The performers are very professional and the show appears to be well rehearsed. The music is good and lively. Everyone wants to see the... More

Unavoidably contrived and a little rough around the edges, but otherwise a great night out. A selection of traditional dance, choral singing and physical theatre which doesn't take itself too seriously whilst maintaining an air of sophistication - even whilst attempting to flog trinkets and tourist fodder between acts. Overall, a great 'touristy' night out and not to be missed.

I was there today with my wife and kids. Don't buy ticket from outside if you are taking your kids. I booked in the hotel and the concierge informed me that they will charge me an adult fee for my kids 8 and 5. When I was there, they charged me half a ticket for both of them. The show... More

We thoroughly enjoyed this highly professional and very entertaining show, held in the Nikolaevsky Palace, where the acoustics are fantastic! The first act was a quartet of a cappella male vocalists, who sang with great skill and commitment. Two dance troupes provided further entertainment, their performances covering all ranges of emotions , from serious to hilarious(especially when involving audience participation! )... More

It's a unique show to see and feel the Russian culture. Generous champagne and caviar along with salmon and fruits were offered fro free during the break. Before the break, the show represented the southern part of Russia; Kazak. After the break: It was a general Russian folk. You can get a free coupon rebate of 200 rubles by getting... More
