Everyone who comes into Russia needs to do at least one city tour. We were part of a bus from a ship and our tour was surprisingly entertaining the first part of the tour. Straining to understand her English became painful after a while. Lots to see In St Petersburg so many things were viewed through the windows. Then every... More

We visited this beautiful city in May this year. Our tour was through a cruise company, and was for 2 days. You must be aware that you can only visit by being part of a tour group, and you need a visa, many companies can apply for you. We traveled along the water ways first, we then went to St... More

Take advantage of the no visa and arrive via the ferry from Helsinki. Spend the day at the Hermitage museum, summer palace, and the church on the blood. Amazing, beautiful city.

In September 2014 we did the Regent Baltic cruise from London to Stockholm. Having previously sailed on Regent and loved it we expected the same service and standard, however this cruise fell a long way short of our previous experience. From the intermittent smell of sewage outside our cabin on level seven, to undrinkable coffee except in the two upmarket... More

Two day stopover on Celebrity cruise in August 2014. We were lucky to have great weather and great tours for the two days we were here. This place should be on everyone's bucket list as it has been so well kept and even after the damage done by war and the communists Russia has done a great job restoring and... More

We suggest arranging a completely private tour of St Petersburg and if you use SPB get the exact itinerary in writing or you will be disappointed. Also, be very clear with the guides if you are not interested in spending a third of your time in souvenir shops. We also suggest that you avoid a cruise or trip that includes... More

We arrived at Saint Petersberg on a cruise knowing very little about the city. What a surprise, it was stunning. We went on a tour of the city sights which are amazing . The palaces are so clean and well maintained. The city is litter free as the Tour rep told us they were brought up not to drop litter.... More

After a great deal of research into tour companies operating in the Baltic region, we finally settled on SPB Tours. We have had limited experience with private tour companies, usually going with the excursions offered by the ship. We opted for SPB tours because we wanted to cram as much into the two days in St. Petersburg as possible and... More

We truly enjoyed this excursion to St.Petersburg,we saw most of the important places in this magnificent city. The palaces,St.Petersburg metro, St.Isaac's Cathedrals and The Hermatage Meseum.
