St. Petersburg was a port of call on a Baltic cruise, so our time was limited, but in two days we saw the Hermitage, Peterhof gardens, the Catherine Palace, Peter & Paul Fortress, Cathedral of Spilled Blood, a river cruise and more for a lot less $ or rubles than the cruise ship was asking for their shorter shore excursions....
