Catheral is one of the must see buildings in Kaliningrad

Yes, it's a German Cathedral, which used to stand in the city of Kenigsberg. Make sure to go inside, and around the building.

There is a miniature of the old city and many other interesting stuff displayed in the museum. You can go up the tower and see the landscape from the highest point of the cathedral.

We visited Kaliningrad as part of a new job fact finding visit. The cathedral was largely destroyed duriong the 2nd world war and restoration only started after the fall of communism. It is now a cathedral which hosts 3 churches of different denominations which is the 1st time I have heard of this. It is a stunning building both outside... More

Nobody can avoid to visit the Immanuel Kant´s Tomb and to hear one of the great concerts being held there. This has always been the main church of Königsberg and now is the most important symbol of Kaliningrad.

A lovely cathedral not far from the Fishing Village area. Interesting to see the black and white photos inside showing the destruction during the war. Organ is impressive and it was a pity I didn't have a chance to hear it.

The church is ok. It is not realy a must see if you ask me. Appart from that, there were a lot of just married couples that were shooting pictures. To be honest, that was more fun to watch that the church itself

The Koenigsberg Cathedral is situated in the heart of Kaliningrad and is very easy to get to. It is surrounded by a green park and it's a nice place to walk around. There's a museum inside the cathedral and several times a week there's an organ recital which usually happens around 11.00 or 14.00. The ticket is 250 rubles and... More

Strongly recommend to visit organ concert - the instrument is new, but one of the biggest in Europe. Toccata re-minor is fantastic!

If you are fond of Immanuel Kant and related topics - that's a museum you will like. Plus: a couple of historical city models, fascinating wooden library room, some medieval artifacts displayed. The negative point is that there's no observation platform of even a clear window on top of the tower - the view could be nice.
