As a square, central square is nothing special. Some of the buildings are beautiful, but you will not choose coming to Vladivostok just to see this square. This square is not much to speak of on a regular day. If you can time your trip with something happening here though, be sure to visit the Square! I happened to be here on Defenders' Day when the military were celebrating in the square. There were exhibits of Russian tanks but, more interestingly, were the demonstrations/ shows. I saw... More

It is not a pretty square lined with trees or park benches to while away some quiet time in the shade.
