I agree with the previous comment, we can find cheaper baths with a lot more to do in Budapest, that's true! These baths are expensive but you don't get the same experience as in Budapest. The steam room with the big Russian woman pouring water in the hot rocks is already worth the trip, not to mention women whipped by... More

It's a great place to go with good friends. You get what you want there, many different bathsuites are available. If you have an injury in your body these baths will transform you in a fully healthy person

It was recommended as one of the top 10 things to do in Moscow, so I went in the morning of my last day (Sunday) there. Being alone and not a Russian speaker, it was at first intimidating, not knowing what to do, but what can be so hard about taking a bath? I just followed the Russian women, who... More

I was taken here by a very good Russian friend. This is essential to enjoy completely the whole experience. The combination of the 'bath', food and , most importantly of all, to watch the Russians relaxing is a real travel experience. If you do not speak Russian you will have a problem here. This is a place for Russians and not... More

If you go to Moscow, we must try them. It's only frequented by russians and it is thus real and interesting. Russians go there between friends and it is for the bath but also to drink some tea and discuss to relax. At the end of the day, it's really a good experience and the district around the bathhouses is... More

Not too easy to find... women and men separated. .. at first glance looks like a bar or a restaurant, only difference was the people with towels. Nobody was able to give minimum information in other language than Russian. We sadly had go give up...

OK, i think i sunk in close to $400 USD for this but would I do it again - absolutely. The men's side must have been immaculate that day given the other reviews which raised a red flag on cleanliness. I went in the morning on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty people-wise, may 30 other older gentlemen. The... More

I paid about £30 to enter the spa which seemed pricey but then it is a Moscow 'must do'. Once inside I was given a sheet, a pair of slippers and a peg where I put my clothes. There are lockers available. The spa itself is pretty basic, nothing special but the sauna is bloody hot full of bit fat... More

I have been to a couple of spas in the UK (Centre Parks at Sherwood and Titanic in Huddersfield) and to the Baths in Budapest and was thoroughly looking forward to visiting this spa. When we arrived the pictures in the brochure did not match what we were seeing with our eyes! The floors were dirty, the "pool" ( which... More
