A good place for a quick visit while in Moscow, or you... More

It is worth the trip to Moscow State University. Just outside the MGU is Sparrow Hill which overlooks Moscow and offers a nice view of the Olympic Stadium and Moscow. You will find Sparrow Hill is very different when viewed during the day versus in the evening.

One of the Seven Sisters, that has very interesting architecture, I wouldn't go out of your way to see it if you have little time in Moscow.

The Moscow State University could definitely surprise you. The building itself represents the monumentalism of the soviet architecture. It's just huge. I can't compare this place to any other buildings I've ever seen in my life.

You cannot miss the main building of the university. We walked around the campus but did not enter any of the buildings The main building is so massive, it can be seen from miles away and is worth a visit.
