The main building of Moscow U is the Stalin-style 30's Art-Deco-ish but Soviet architectural massive monolith. It's enormous. Studded with red flags in front and opposite a high prospect over the city and the Olympic Stadium, it's a nice quick stop for a photo and a really impressive sight.

Moscow state university is situated near metro university. Although there is not much to view except the building itself, there is a view point at the back side of the main building just across the road from where you get a good view of moscow river, luzniki stadium and most part of the city. A must visit place.

The way to get here is via the subway. Then walk up the valley side. Or take the cable car. Do not just stay at the viewing point walk to the building. And back via the woods.. watch the wedding photos being taken and enjoy the views

Walking at the footsteps of many great soviet scientists, this is one of the most important architecture of the Soviet era.. A must-see for anyone staying a little longer than an average traveller.
