The Moscow State University could definitely surprise you. The building itself represents the monumentalism of the soviet architecture. It's just huge. I can't compare this place to any other buildings I've ever seen in my life.

You cannot miss the main building of the university. We walked around the campus but did not enter any of the buildings The main building is so massive, it can be seen from miles away and is worth a visit.

It is an amazing building from outside and takes part of the "Seven Sisters", that mean one of the buildings built by Stalin. I have visited on a evening and it was really impressive to see the University with all the lights in the windows. It is worth the walk of 15 minutes from the metro station.

This is my Alma Mater! One of the best places to visit in Moscow - the ultimate monument of Soviet power and the power of knowledge! Even if you wouldn't be able to get incide the main building, you can take a walk on the streets of University and take a look around the old buildings of different faculties. Also,... More

Wow, impressive building on the hill above Moscow. Its size and style is imposing and worth seeing. A short stroll from there to Sparrow Hill viewing point gives a great view out over Moscow.

This building is worth a close up view, it's huge. It's just a short walk from the Sparrow Hills view point. It's about a 15 minute walk from the Universitet Metro station. Best views of the 'Stalin's Sister' building is from the view point itself. Unfortunately it doesn't look open to the public.

The outside is amazing. Go at night, to see this beautiful lighting. Unfortunately, I did not go inside. Maybe it is just for students and employees.

Incredible building! Although it was a little bit of a walk out of the centre, actually seeing this building up close is impressive. It could take about twenty minutes to walk around the perimeter but looking up the intricate details and vastness of the building is one that is quite startling.
