Wow! The views from the top of Vorobyovy Gory were INCREDIBLE - you can really see all of Moscow. It is also a really beautiful location - you feel like you are inside of a forest within a city. Wonderful! Side Note: Find a map if you can - we spent lots of time just trying to get to the... More

Especially when you plan your visit to Moscow, you start to read about the highlights of this city, right? I have read about Sparrow hills, and when we finally got there, it was even better than I expected. The great stories and legends we were told there by our tour guide made this place more interesting and I will always... More

We were on Sparrow hills twice, first with a tour guide, then on owr own, but at night. We were a little bit concerned about coming in late evening, but when we started sightseeing the city, we learned how to use metro, and we were able to reach any place by metro. At night Sparrow hills looks totally different, and... More

We read so much about this place before we came to Moscow. We finally got there and were amazed how beautiful it was. It is not the highest hill we have ever seen, but it was really great view we could enjoy there. It is worth to visit it in the evening too. Just make sure you have warm clothes... More

It was really nice to come to the highest point of Moscow. From here we saw all seven sisters "Stalin's skyscrapers". Our guide shared many interesting stories about Sparrow hills and other sights we saw. Very beautiful view of Moscow.

This is the overlook. It is here where you can see most of the center. More importantly you can see the Stalin seven sister buildings and if I am not mistaken it is the only place you can view all 7.

Not easy to get here if you don't have a car, but it opens a great view on Moscow and the Moscow river, located right across Moscow State University, a beautiful scene too. Needless to say its where many newlyweds stop for traditional pictures. Although I wouldn't recommend going there if its foggy, you won't see much anyways and its... More

Moscow is pretty flat so this is a great place to see over Moscow. It's quite far from the nearest metro stations, either Universitet or Leninskie Gory. If you get off at the former, you need to walk up the steep hill through a nature reserve which is pleasant. Or the walk is flat via the university if coming from... More
