It's a very pleasant place for cycling, skating or just walking from here to the Gorkiy Park. By the way there is a nice funicular from the river bank up to the viewing point.

If there is a single best point to see the Moscow in its 19-20 century borders it is this. Connection to here is by car or metro, but car is preferred way, because you dont need to walk from the station. 15 minutes with a local person is OK to understand the panorama

Unfortunately the highest point in Moscow is not so interesting. Visit only if you have lot of time in Moscow or planning for a visit to Moscow university

Besides the great view it's a meeting point for motorcycle clubs and street racers. There's a walkway down to the Moskva River only a few hundred meters away to the right.

In summer time I go through the Sparrow Hills almost every weekend. One can see the Moscow from here like on his palm and in comparison e.g. with Ostankino Tower the most of Moscow attractions are much closer and easily can be recognized. Of course the weather will influence on the overall impression and to tell the truth I can... More

I have been at sparrow hill in November'14. It was actually wrong time to be there. But somehow we enjoyed the cold weather. We were running jogging and joking! It is a fun place. And Moscow university near the sparrow hill in another attraction. The metro of Vorobyovy Gory is one of those metro stations above ground. Good spot to... More

In January , it is quite cold, therefore you have to make sure that you have the wright clothes. Very nice place , you can walk in forest, go to observation point and look over Moscow city. There is also a lift going down to the park.
