This was billed as a really special view... nicely laid out, with plenty of room for visitors. But the views didn't do much for me

We took the Metro out here near the university to see the city overlook but couldn't find it. Stalin's largest Seven Sister building is here, though, so not a total waste.

The park has been renovated, so that now there are touristic routs and cycle paths. It is spread over the hill. Down the hill you may stroll along the river, up the hill you may see marvelous view of the whole city and to have a look at one of Stalin's sky scrapers - Moscow State University.

The night (Saturday) we were there - about 11.30pm there were hundreds of young people just enjoying life. Bands were p[laying and it was very festive.

It is in the region where the University of Moscow is located. The views are good showing the Moscow olympic stadium, historic center of moscow, and others. Nice place to visit

We went there with our private tour guide and it wasn't bad. It certainly gives you an idea of how big the city is. Interesting that the group of tall modern buildings to the left, have all been built since 1991, when the Soviet empire collapsed.

We visited Sparrow Hills in the evening on our way to see the University's iconic Stalin building (one of his '7 Sister' buildings). It was a surprise to see the viewpoint & carpark crowded with motorbikes! Many of the bike riders displayed their beautiful Harley Davidson's, Gold Wings and other high-powered motorcycles with loving care. It was wonderful to have... More

I was underwhelmed. It's a nice view but there are many nice views in Moscow. Maybe it's just me but I could have skipped this one- long drive in traffic for a hilltop view. Meh.

It is a good 15min walk from the rear side of the main building, assuming the side facing the bus stop is the front. You just need to get to the rear of the main building and walk straight to the place.
