This vantage point, the highest in the city, gives fabulous views in every conceivable direction. It represented a stop on our city bus tour, and I don't know how it could be accessed any other way, apart from taxi. The full span of the Moskva River can be appreciated, along with the entire Kremlin and its walls; also the Olympic... More

One of the high spots where you could see the city. Also you could find one of the oldest University in Russia - Moscow Government University by Lomonosov and also this building very good example of "Russian art-deco" architecture style (Stalin`s style).

There are nice views of the city and the 1980 Olympic stadium from up here. Not much in the way of services, but in the summer, one can go down the hill and sit at a cafe and watch the boats go by or actually take a boat tour of the city.

This was a nice place to see the Moscow skyline. There was a nice park across the street (Moscow has LOTS of parks). They have a stand where you can get ice cream or a drink, and the ski jump that was in the Olympics is stationed there. It is quite a ways out however.

I was a bit disappointed with the view. I was hoping to see a lot of Moscow from here, but then there were fences and a lot of restoration were going on. Wish we could have come at a better time when we could see more of the city (with less cranes).

We visited Sparrow Hills on part of our comprehensive city tour from the river boat Andrei Rublev. Great views right across the city and the University buildings. Many Muscovites have their wedding photos taken here, we were lucky to see a wedding party, they released doves.

We went to this place twice, once in the day and once in the night (evening). For the day trip we took a chair lift up from the riverside. There is a very nice view to Moscow from the upper station of the lift. There are several free binoculars. On the other side (with your back to the river) you... More

This is the highest point of Moscow and worth going there to see the beautiful view of Moscow skyline as well the University Building to the other side.
