This venue provides an absolutely spectacular 180 degree - or more - views of the city of Moscow. It's close to the university and is a favourite gathering place for the locals. When we were there a very large group of motorbike riders had gathered, displaying their leathers and, of course, their machines. Families with young children had gathered enjoying... More

The place offers an excellent view over the Moscow city. From this spot, I can see beautiful buildings, the Moscow river, grand squares, and much much more. The light breeze of summer gives me a refreshing relaxation despite the numerous tourists ^_^

Sparrow Hill is the highest point in Moscow, from which the views of the city are magnificence. Here is a wide pavement which makes a safe environment to take photos and enjoy the views, which includes the financial district, with its many high raise glass buildings, as well as the historic centre. It is said that this is the only... More

It is not a long drive and the surroundings are quite pleasant: the view of Moscow is wonderful, the lush trees all around, an old church that has seen Napoleon's invasion, Moscow river flowing gracefuly, and Moscow State University towering above all. Expect a large crowd, though. And do try to visit before the new construction of a statue of... More

We went here basically to get the views of Moscow city. The views are great and overwhelming. But another sight to behold is the Streached limousines which come here every other minutes. Amazing views and photography we did.

Panoramic view itself is spectacular. But the place to see is along the road. It's noisy and you will be exposed to emission gas from many cars and motorcycle.

It's a very pleasant place for cycling, skating or just walking from here to the Gorkiy Park. By the way there is a nice funicular from the river bank up to the viewing point.

If there is a single best point to see the Moscow in its 19-20 century borders it is this. Connection to here is by car or metro, but car is preferred way, because you dont need to walk from the station. 15 minutes with a local person is OK to understand the panorama
