Always wanted to visit Bolshoi for opera or ballet. We were lucky to get tickets online few months ahead and find good seats. We were on ballet. It was awesome, unforgettable and impressive. Russian ballet in Russian capital and in the center of Moscow. We are still impressed with performance and great architecture of the building and especially interiors.

It is something unbelievable! The theater besides the great performance of the soprano, tenor, and baritone, for " La Traviata ", just the Bolshoi theater is something to be seen. Like you go to the past and it is in such good condition everything and old in style though. The only thing to everyone is to take cash for food... More

We bought our tickets online with two months in advance and collect them in the theatre hours before La Traviata started. We had the best seats and it wasn't expensive at all. Inside the theatre everything was as expected. Elegant and classic. A really good experience and the best props I've ever seen on stage. Even a real horse at... More

The Bolshoi is set in a beautiful part of Moscow; even if you do not have tickets to a show I would still recommend walking around the area - some amazing architecture and great for people watching! We has tickets for one of the smaller shows which was amazing as we were so close to the performers, however if there... More

I knew the Rostov Ballet company would not equal Bolshoi company but wanted to experience the theatre. It was worth it. Big old timey with glitter and gilt. Just gotta do it.

It is advisable to book tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment. I bought seats for my family months before our Moscow trip and although they were a little expensive - they proved to be worth every penny. The whole evening watching the world's most famous ballet company was a fantastic experience - seeing the dancing skills on the plush... More

I was forced to buy a ticket in advance from a private company, as no tickets for my visit were available on the website. The photos didn't impress me when compared to other theaters I have been inside. Therefore, I almost grudgingly told myself that it would be better to take advantage of the opportunity to see a Bolshoi ballet... More

I have been in the Bolshoi Theatre watching an Opera and I just can say that's the Proper place to it!!! You feel like in the Belle Epoc!!! The staff could be a bit nicer as they were to strict and there was also a bit cold inside.

Before Christmas watched the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" by Tchaikovsky at the Bolshoi Theatre. Beautiful building, excellent interior, beautiful music.
