I entered the Armoury as part of a visit to the Kremlin. You need time to stop in every work of art, dress, cart, etc. There is so much to see and you learn from every object you see. It is amazing how you learn from every object and understand more from the Russian culture. All the exhibition is very... More

It is amazing what they have been able to preserve over the years. So much history and all of it is very interesting.

Very interesting exhibits, and an excellent free audio guide. They have a lot of different items - metal ware, weapons and armor, a huge carriage collection, jewels, crowns, clothing, etc. There is a lot to see, but the audio guide has some really great information and we definitely learned a lot.

You can purchase tickets to The Armoury online now, there are set entry times and the wait is limited to the metal detectors at the gate and trying to outrun the massive guided tour groups. Exhibits don't need any further introduction, they are well organised, interesting and covered by a useful audio guide. "Good for the whole family" - according... More

We saw an amazing travelling exhibition of the Kremlin Armoury in the USA. It was amazing. Seeing the real site was beyond imagination. After seeing such high volume of amazing works of art, you eventually get numb. Yawn...another priceless piece of art. Yawn...another relic from a major point in history. Yawn ... the throne of Peter the Great. Many of... More

The Armoury was in charge of purchasing and storing of various weapons of the Czars. You see a large number of cannons lined up from Napoleon's time in the Armoury. Each cannon is a beautiful piece of work.

Faberge eggs, beautiful things, amazing carriages - all in one grand museum. This is worth a visit and worth the time to see as much as possible. A guide can be of great assistance in understanding the displays.

Buy tickets online ahead of time for the 10am entry and then pick them up at the ticket office at Trinity Tower by 9:30 am so you can get in line down at the separate Armoury entrance to get in a bit early. Fewer crowds! The audio guide is included and is well done so use it to see the... More
