Beautiful park, well maintained and not as crowded as Gorky Park. Best time to visit is in May and June. The museum is worth a visit (last Thursday of month is an off day). The Metro Park pobedy is known for one of the deepest escalators in Moscow.

The Russians certainly know how to commemorate their military achievements! The impressive open park leads to a vast building devoted to venerating those who have fought for their country. Apart from thousands of displays and exhibits there are rooms of impressive panoramic tableaux depicting many battles. And the building was full of school parties taking in their history. Overwhelming.

Came here for the Victory Day fireworks at night, couldn't even get into the park, it was absolutely packed. It looked like all of Moscow came out. When the fireworks were over there was a constant flow of people for about an hour, and I mean like shoulder to shoulder, 30 people wide. I have never seen anything like it.... More

On a sunny day Victory park is a lovely place to spend the afternoon just wandering around. There is plenty of bustle without being to crowded. Plenty of interesting features dot the ground, memorials, fountains and a museum. A peaceful idyll in a busy city!

Outstanding experience. If you come to Moscow this is a must-go attraction. The park makes you feel the war sentiment.

Victory Park is situated on the grounds of the former Poklonnaya hill, the place where everyone was expected to pay hommage before entering Moscow. Poklon literally means to bow down. On this spot Napoleon waited in vain for the keys to the city. Now it is a huge park, a grand memorial museum of the Great Patriotic War and a... More

I visited this in January was delighted to find that there was a small fairground set up. There was also a big hill of snow that locals were using to sled down, which was great fun. The park is very big and there is many memorials to various events in Russian history. You can get there by taking the metro... More
