Like New York City, Gorkiy Park is a worthwhile place to visit. There are plenty of things to do and see plus walking is good exercise for everyone.

I was driving my daughter and her husband home, when we passed a sign designated Gorky Park. My daughter had been there before, being the FIRST-EVER Bungee Catapulter (Jumper) in 1995, when she was 18, with an Australian crew and set-up. She is now 38!! She was a little nostalgic, remembering the episode. The park was quite this time, with... More

On 06/09, we had a day to fill before catching a train to Ekaterinburg. We decided to catch the metro out to the Park Kultury stop. A short stroll over the river bridge showed us an excellent panorama of the city. The Peter the Great statue dominates the skyline here. We strolled arm in arm in the autumn sunshine through... More

We did this as a last minute substitute after finding the Kremlin tour cancelled. I wish we had devoted a whole day to it as I feel we only scratched the surface. Among the attractions we saw were musical fountains, bike hire, bean bags to lounge about on and enchanting walks. Feel cheated not to have explored it further.

I used to live in New York City near Central Park. I thought it was the greatest park in a major city until I came to Gorkiy Park. It is so beautiful and has many new sights like lounge chairs and art installations. It is a must see.

Lovely peaceful place on the banks of the Moskva River. Fine eating establishments, lovely fountains, gorgeous greenery. If you need a break from the hectic side of Moscow, you'll find your peace here. Recommended.

Visited in the Spring. The weather was amazing, and the flowers were just starting to bloom. There was a lovely fountain water show with very fitting, poignant music. A great place to just relax and take things slow.
