What a lovely park. We walked through it on our way to do a boat trip and then on our return took our time to stroll through it and soak up the atmosphere. The facilities here are amazing. It is right on the River but it also has a small lake near the entrance for paddle boats. It has volleyball... More

This is a very nice well managed open park. There were even places you could connect your charger go the high voltage mains. There's a nice small lake for pedal boats and swimming at the entrance. Great coffee place there too. Worth a walk around of you're in town.

Russia doesn't do anything halfway, and public parks are no exception. I spent 5 hours here yesterday and am going back tonight. After the hustle and bustle of Moscow (and trying to navigate the metro in Cyrillic), you can spend a few hours just walking along the river, sitting in front of numerous gardens and fountains, lounging on bean bags,... Beautiful large park with a musical fountain. Variety of flora and fauna -- saw a particularly beautiful golden squirrel. Children's play areas also there. Very relaxing provided the weather is good.

A large park with coffee stands, pedalo boats, fountain with synchronized music water show, and plenty of benches. Nice for people-watching.

I haven't visited the park since 2007 and was absolutely stunned this time in 2015. Every aspect of it improved in every way. You don't even feel like you are in Moscow - you are magically removed out of that turmoil, traffic, etc into a beautiful place where one can walk/dance/do some sports (even extreme ones)/ride a bike/rent a boat... As SCORPIONS say "Follow the Moscwans, down to Gorkiy Park". A very nice evening stroll. The park is full of people. Watch the fountain show and feel as a resident.

By all accounts, this park has undergone something of a transformation in recent years. It has something for everyone and on a lovely summer's day, what better place to be in Moscow?

Gorky park is amazing. It's landscape design changes with the season. In the evening you can enjoy colorful fountains dancing under classical music. You can rent a bike and ride along the river, or go on the water bike on the lake. There are 2 interesting swans with black head and white body. The parkorganises lots of free activities in... More
