Great choice for anybody, from sportsmen to the elderly. Improved lawns, flowers and green in general, mattresses for a quick snap on the lawn, music driven waterjet, thin golden grained sand for your beach volley field, basket ball, badmington and much more! All engraved in the magic picture of Moskva rijeka and its boats.

This is a well laid out park alongside the Moscow River. It is a busy park with beach volley ball, roller blading and many other attractions. The flowers were in full bloom with the park staff planting more that will bloom soon. Plenty of eateries too. We recommend that you carry on walking to the next park Neskutchny.

Quite alot of russian youth spend time here;this is a wonderful park where you see people play table tennis, cycle, scoot, and enjoy their time next to the fountain. If you are just interested in a relaxing day doing nothing, this could be the place.

Like many city parks across the world (NY; Paris; London; Rome; Barcelona; etc.) Gorky is a great place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

A good place to go to do some serious people watching. Nice 300 acre green belt in the city, with moderate food spots and a few commercial exhibitions. The old amusement park is gone.

Gorky Park is the perfect antidote if Moscow's harsh architecture is getting you down. Full of beautiful gardens, activities, cafes and young Russians having fun. If you do one thing in Moscow, make it Gorky Park!

Gorky Park I first visited in 2000. A decade after the fall of the Soviet Union. Today I went back almost a decade and a half later and while this park has been transformed and is full of life (families everywhere), what has gone and needed to go to be fair is the old amusement rides and the skating rink...
