We paid a flying visit as it was very cold, Had breakfast in one or the cafe's - experience in itself as an omelette comes with all the fillings on the side ! - cheap and cheerfull, but the coffee was warm and very welcome. The gates are amazing.

This park is beautiful I just happened to walk it on the coldest day Russia has had this winter. However the park was so beautiful that for about an hour and a half I was able to walk around and take some pics. Tip for all non Russian speakers download Google translate it really helps.

We did go past (who can miss this) but there was not much going on. There seemed to be an ice rink but it was very quiet.

We spent the day just walking around the park and enjoying the beauty around us. The park was not crowded and we could enjoy ourselves.

I visited Gorkiy Park, two years ago when I was in Moscow! Absolutely worth a visit! If I had the chance I would visit it again and again!

Headed to Gorky park to do some skating. Unseasonably warm weather for Moscow and I'm guessing that is why the ice skating was closed, but information was limited to those with no knowledge of the language. Very disappointing! The park had the air of an old English seaside town, in that it had undoubtedly seen better days but still had... More

I'm from Canada so I know about good outdoor events, and this is a fantastic experience! You can skate through the paths of Gorky Park which are lit with coloured lights and there's music playing. It's a great atmosphere. If you go at night you can see lights underneath the ice turn everything multi-coloured. During the week the price is... More

I was there mostly during evenings, it's a very nice place to just walk around or play some stuff. We could even play petanque, you can rent everything you need and just start playing. You can also relax and have a drink or just look at the ducks in the park. Easy to access from the metro station, plenty of... More

This is one of the most impressive and artsy parks I've ever visited. I went there on a cold, Sunday evening and it was still buzzing with life. There were artworks everywhere, light shows and everyone seemed so happy either ice skating or just taking in the scenery. This is a must see in Moscow.
