An emotional experience for those who have memories of what has taken place here. Standing in the middle of history........You simply can't experience Moscow without seeing the Red Square.

It's hard not to find yourself somehow gravitating to this part of Moscow. We were there at all hours and all weathers. It gets crowded int he day under the beautiful warm sunshine in summer, it has a looming vibe on overcast dusk as you see the silouette of the buildings. Whether it tempts you for ice-cream in summer or... More

Whatever the weather, the Red Square, the St. Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin you see from there always comes good on your photos and will shine on you ever after. It's just great! You need to enter the cathedral and if you have enough money, visit the department store next to the Red Square

I would love to be in Red Square for a May Day parade. The place is impressive with only tourists there. Get in line for a walk through Lenin's Mausoleum and also to see the resting places of many other communist leaders along the Kremlin wall.
