If I could travel like this everywhere, I would. The Sapsan is a fast, easy way to get between Moscow and Petersburg, and it is infinitely preferable to flying with all its attendant hassles. Food is served at mealtimes, and snacks are available for purchase from the bistro cars and the carts that go up and down the aisles. The... More

My wife and I recently travelled on this train from Moscow to St.Petersburg. Wonderful trip with lots to see during the 4 hour journey. Would recommend this trip to anyone - lovely modern train.

Comfortable, speedy and with courtious service. Has Wi-Fi connection. One can work. A top: not recommended the seats ata table, seems to be comfortable but not enough space for legs.

Prolly the fastest way to get to St Peresbourg! Also tickets can be so very cheap if you pick "less popular" date

Clean, prompt, comfortable and fast. A great way to travel between Moscow and St Petersburg taking just under 4 hours. Only problem, we couldn't get the WiFi to work, possible because we had foreign mobiles?

This is a wonderfully fast, comfortable and clean journey and takes approx. 3 and a half hours. Don't waste your money on traveling executive [or business class] as the seating is exactly the same. Only difference is they give you a meal. Best option is to buy some snacks and water for the journey. Dining car is not all that... More

Prices incredibly high, service is poor and speed is twice as low as specification. Another problem is shivering, makes hard to read while in. I am choosing flight transport

When travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg, I recommend you take the Sapsan which delivers you in 4 hours from leningradsky station in Moscow straight into the centre of st.petersburg. Price is reasonable and its quick and efficient. It avoids having to suffer more traffic jams going to the airport and flying! Sapsan is a nice change!
