Do not be afraid to try, easy enough. Look in the windows of the cars you will see the car number. Sometimes you must enter from an adjacent car, no worries. Coach class is comfortable enough. the service will give you drinks and a sandwich. It is a little slow at the train stations as the walkways are narrow and... More

The modern train is a very efficient way to get between Moscow and St Petersburg. Leaving from the Leningrad station, on time. The route takes you through endless Birch forest and wood built villages allowing a glimpse into the less developed areas of post-soviet Russia, as with all trains it affords a view through the back door rather than the... travelled from Moscow to St. Petersburg, it took four hours to cover a distance of about 700 kms. The journey was smooth and we reached dot on time. The seats are okay not too good but comfortable. They also have a common Tv . The dinning car served some decent stuff , you also cart from dinning cart in your... More

Good way to travel between St. Petersburg and Moscow, though I wish it to be faster. Internet is slow and periodical.

Best solution to get to st pet or to moscow, and fast. A bit expensive. Conformable train, with TV inside (common one not individual)

Traveled to Kursk from Moscow during winter holidays. The journey was rather smooth and we reached on time without any delay. The seats were very comfortable although it was not very spacious especially cause there was lack of space for baggages. I must point out that the platform in Moscow was a little disorganised.

One of the most comfortable way to get to the culture capital of Russia . Disadvantage -high price. It could be better if it would faster.

The trains are smooth and the best way to get from moscow to st Pete. Reserved seats ensures you can sit with your party. The only challenge is that there are no 'family friendly' or 'adult only' cars. We had a poorly behaved child across the aisle and parents that were not in control. The return trip was much better

I take Sapsan all the time. It is incredibly convenient. The services still lag behind euro counterparts, but in general I strongly recommend it over all other forms of medium distance transportation.

Simple the best and easiest way to travel between two cities. Quick - 4 hours and you are in the center of the city both for Moscow and Saint - Peterborough. Comfortable - seats very comfortable and there is enough space between rows even for passengers with long legs. If you're hungry, you can visit nice cafeteria inside train. You... More
