Wonderfully relaxing journey from St Petersburg to Moscow by Sapsan. Total comfort together with friendly service by train staff.

This is a wonderfully fast, comfortable and clean journey and takes approx. 3 and a half hours. Don't waste your money on traveling executive [or business class] as the seating is exactly the same. Only difference is they give you a meal. Best option is to buy some snacks and water for the journey. Dining car is not all that... More

Prices incredibly high, service is poor and speed is twice as low as specification. Another problem is shivering, makes hard to read while in. I am choosing flight transport

When travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg, I recommend you take the Sapsan which delivers you in 4 hours from leningradsky station in Moscow straight into the centre of st.petersburg. Price is reasonable and its quick and efficient. It avoids having to suffer more traffic jams going to the airport and flying! Sapsan is a nice change!

Since the day the first train has started its journey it's became my favorite way to get to St.Petersburg. It's much easier to get to the Belorussky railway station than to the airport, you don't need to check in your laggage or something, you don't need to wait the counter's queue, you just go directly to your seat, and relax.... My wife and I rode the high-speed Sapsan (Falcon) Train from St. Petersburg to Moscow and enjoyed the comfort all the way. The distance is a little over 400 miles and the trip took about 4 1/2 hours. We were able to see the beautiful countryside zip by and it even made a few quick stops at some small villages.... More

We've used this train a few times. Far faster than other trains and very comfortable. Even economy class is similar to UK's 1st class. Almost like a plane journey with its modern interior and cabin trolley serving eats and drinks.

This train is better than a plane! For 3.5 hours you get from the center of the capital to the center of the second capital. So you can visit both cities and see the views from the window. The train really fast and comfortable. Has only one stop and goes several times a day. Clean and modern. Get tickets in... More
