This is the place where the Romania revolution gathering occurred. It's a nice promenade with shops and restaurants. This area could look much better, now is just average.

Piata Operei si where most of the terraces and restaurants are and the place where people meet. Is a nice pedestrian areal really nice to visit in summer time. The cathedral is at one end and opera house at the other.

Piata Operei or Piata Victoriei (Victoria Square) - the same thing: excellent place to come in contact with Timisoara.

In the historical area, has many terraces to eat or drink something. There are also some shops, not to many, but when the works are finished, I think it will be a great place also for shopping.

It is the same square where the revolution of Timisoara started. There are 3 attractions on Trip Advisor referring to the same place: Piata Operei, Victory Square and Timisoara Historical Center.

This square is nothing special if you have been around Europe. This is not to say that it's not worth a visit, but do not go out of your way to get there.

The center of the city with lovely buildings along both sides that define the times of gone prosperity. Space has not been ruined by new architecture and itbisvthe perfect balance between free space and beautiful facades that make it unique. Facades are in urgent need of repair but owners of the buildings have no means to finance the restoration. Decay... More

A very nice strolling place in Timisoara, with many cafes and shops. We didn't have so much time for the visit but I enjoyed our walk in this area.
