It's a fairly large garden and has many different areas to explore. Nice relaxing place with areas to sit down and chat or plenty of paths to walk and talk.

We enjoyed very much our time spend in the garden. The greenhouse are just amazing. We loved the Japanese garden and the roses. The price is very very low (5 lei for an adult). I recommand this experience for anyone who is visiting Cluj. We are going to be back here in another season to enjoy other plants and flowers.

It is a rich and varied natural experience. It is a 20 minute walk from the centre. A recommended destination if you visit Cluj. It is one of the most important attractions of the city. Ideal for a family visit.

Spending your morning or a full day there is a must if you visit Cluj. A variety of plants will wait for you from spring till winter, outside or in the greenhouses. Even if i live in the city i feel like i don't go there often enough. See some pictures on my blog http://greenzonelife.wordpress.com/2013/04/24/gradina-botanica-cluj/

I took me more than 4 hours to look all over it. And maybe I missed something. It is huge, separated on country and region places with common for them plans. For these 4 hours i saw 3 weddings in it! Just because of the amazing view they have maybe... It is my favorite time spent in Cluj-Napoca

The botanical garden is great and has various types of plants and trees, from al other the world (inlcuding Australia and Japan). Well organized, you could rest between the objective to be visited in specially designed places. Inside there is also an Botanical Museum, where you can find interesting things, altough you are or not a plant specialist.

Situated some 20 minutes walking from the city center this is a 14 ha academic establishment containing some 10.000 species of plants organized in different departments - comestible, medical, ornamental plants. Not to forger the 3 hothouses and the excellent plants museum containing a huge collection of dried plants, seeds, and fruits. Worth also for a simple escape from the... More
