In the first hour, on Saturday, the Botanical Garden from Cluj-Napoca is a wonderland. Started with the Japanese garden and proceded with the green-house and adiacent forest. Bring the children with you but state clear rules for meeting places and hours. Best if you can freely communicate one with another. Check the open hours on internet.

The Botanical Garden could be soooo much better than it actually is. It has tonnes of potential but I feel as though it has not been looked after enough. A beautiful stroll it was but do be careful if it has recently rained as some parts were slippery. Overall I would probably go back if I was in the area... More

Right in the middle of a superb city, this garden is a piece of heaven. You, do not realize that the city is just a few feet away. Plants from all over the world, beautiful flowers and an atmosphere of silence and relaxation,

I still recommend it as a nice place to spend a couple of hours during spring or summer . There are still a lot of varieties of plants and you can see a lot of beautiful flowers BUT the place seems forgotten by the authorities . You wonder about because there are only a couple of signs to help you... More

bit damp but nice amble around, though the plants were between seasons, so not so much in bloom at beginning of June, looked like a week prior, tulips, irises and peonies all in full bloom, roses were out but not much else. Japanese garden cute but seen better in UK at Cliveden and Compton Acres.

To Whom It May Concern Agree on all what others said about this beauty a perl of Cluj except one thing. This place might be peaceful to some one who go there for a lovely many tulips. Not to some one like me who is a garden neighbor for a past five years now. This place is harmfully noisy. I... More

While the botanical garden in Cluj is not as huge as the ones I visited in Asia, all in all, the experience is still wonderful. It is a nice place to visit in the fall, where the backdrop is orange and the lilies and orchids in the greenhouse are in bloom. Spring time is a good time to visit as... More

t is one of the main attractions of the City where you can learn about the plants all over the world. It was founded in 1872 and was and is one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe. The main attractions are the Japanese Garden, the greenhouses where you can find plants from all over the world. make sure that... More
