Its a marvoulous place full of unique plants

The selection of plants and flowers that can be found here is one of the biggest in central europe. There are a lot of unique species that live only here in our country

I visited this place several time during my childhood and most recently a few weeks back. I always enjoy going back and see what changes have they made, what season is the most beautiful for visiting. My recent visit was during the start of the summer, so all the roses in the garden were blossomed and the colors were amazing.... More

A lovely peaceful and beautiful park. Very pretty and quiet. Saw very few other people in the 90mins or so we were wandering around. Entry of 8 lei per person (about £1.50) was very good value for money. Main disadvantage was the lack of signposting. When we decided to leave took us about 15mins to work out where the exits... Beautiful gardens in the centre of Cluj Napoca. Very cheap entrance fee and can't help thinking they are missing out on making some money from a cafe or coffee shop. We spent at least 3 hours walking around the gardens, ponds and streams in the sun and had a great time all for about £2.50. Take plenty of water and... More

while the garden is pretty and well kept, it would be really nice if one could enjoy a cup of coffee/tea. There is no coffee shop; only vending machines close to the entrance. Also, there is no gift shop, so if you think you can get a souvenir, forget about it!

We loved the botanical garden. It looks like they preserved a part of the nature. You go up and down the hills, along a stream of water, you cross small bridges and walk along trees. A lot of types of plants, birds, insects (yaicks....) Totally recommend it. Very peaceful.
