I was plensant to see all the artworks at the store, big and small. Man-painted. They are very unique. It worth a visit when you drive around the finger lake area.

It is just so whimsical and colorful. The video showing just what goes in to producing the products was amazing. Most of us don't realize all the time and effort that goes into these unique and hand made articles. Our tour guide for the house could not have been more well-prepared with all the facts of the property. She let... More

I wasn't sure what to expect when coming here but I was pleasantly surprised with it all. The shop was filled with amazing and unique merchandise. Off the shop was a small theater showing a short film on the making of the pottery- a must watch! We also took the tour of the house, which was the best part! The... More

My husband and I stayed at "The Aurora Inn" in the Sept. of 2015 and were happy to find out that "Mackenzie-Childs" store was located just 10 minutes down the road. I had heard of this place through a friend but we both enjoyed the store and the tour of the house next to it. They decorate the whole house... More

Had to stop and enjoy the grounds! Everything was picture perfect- loved the willow tree over the pond. If you love MacKenzie-Childs, this is a must! I am so glad that I made the family make the stop!

This place is breath taking. The grounds are spectacular. It is a place you must stop and visit while you are in the area. The shop is beautiful and a merchandised with such taste and flair. I am not a fan of the pottery, but there are a few pieces that I love. The talent is all around. Make sure... More

Well I don't actually like MacKenzie Childs but my sisters do so I've made the mistake of purchasing some gifts. Yes they're overpriced but I thought at least they would last. This is not the case. One object, an outdoor door knocker which is completely protected from rain and snow has been outside the last 8 months and is turning... More

Come view the whimsical art at McKenzie-Childs. Set on a beautiful parcel across from the Cayuga Lake, this gem should not be missed. Watch the short showing the steps each piece goes through and be intrigued by the on-site artist as a piece is colorfully brought to life. Tour the 15-room home and pick up a favored item in the... Most of the reviews below describe the experience of a visit to MacKenzie-Childs. I'm a pretty typical male and really had little interest in visiting but I'm certainly glad I did. Went with my wife(of course), son and daughter-in-law on the day before the barn sale. In an earlier review, the reviewer said people had waited hours in line. This... More

A unique store and pottery. Decorated pottery , furniture, rugs jewelry and a lot more. Way over the top. There is a farmhouse on the grounds which is a must see as it is furnished with all th products of Mac-Kenzie -Childs. The companywas started by artists who certainly had imagination. Everything is very whimsical. Don't miss it
