I couldn't wait to get inside! And what a fun place to browse. I found lots of things I would love, can easily see the addiction. At my age though, I purchased a lovely teapot! My daughter of course, confiscated it. There is so much to appreciate. Other shoppers were obviously repeat customers, their bags were packed! Yes, it is... More

We visited the Mackenzie-Childs Farm House and estates on a lovely afternoon. The Farm House and the other buildings are worth seeing, if only to understand how a single design aesthetic can be somewhat overwhelming. Every object, whether furniture, fabric or pottery, is overpriced on the order of at least two. There is consistency… and if it is your style,... More

There is nothing like this. Outstanding quality and so unique! And don't miss the tour through the Farm House - our guide was awesome and really knew the history and the story of each of the pieces used to fill the rooms.

Take a step into a world of fantasy meets reality. Much more than just a pottery retailer; You can furnish an entire home with McKenzie-Childs offerings. Yes, expensive is accurate; however, it's one of a kind. Take a tour of the farmhouse which is on the property and is outfitted top to bottom with available furnishings for purchase.

MacKenzie-Child's Pottery is excellent. They make dishes and furniture from pottery. There are also great linens, dishes for little children, and rugs for any size room. They are expensive but if you can come when they have a sale, you can get a bargain,

It was a beautiful drive to the compound. The facility was amazing but expect to spend a small fortune in the gallery.

This is a very beautiful site with lovely gardens, an amazing gift shop and a pottery workshop tour. If you are in the area, take a quick stop here.

It was fun to walk through and look at all the funky stuff, but the items are ridiculously priced. Not sure who can afford to shop here, but we sure can't. Worth it to stop and take a look, but don't go out of your way if you aren't a millionaire!

We were attending a wedding at the Aurora Inn and heard about M-C pottery Workshop. What a great find. Don't miss the video on how they make it. Their work is all hand made and beautiful. It wasn't crowded, but I understand they get some bus traffic. The grounds of the property are lovely with a view to match. You... More
