It was a joy for us to spend this week with the Religion and Ethics Department, of the School of Theology at this historic and highly effective university. We engaged with first year students, from a variety of majors, who have a required course of R&E. After presenting to 21 classes of 40 students/class, and engaging with teachers, pastors and... CPU is one of the known schools in Iloilo. During my last visit in Iloilo, it was Christmas time, CPU showcased their Christmas crafts that made the campus more beautiful. More than that of course, CPU is continuing to be the fountain of brilliant minds in Iloilo City.

The place is very refreshing especially to those who were used to staying in a busy place like Manila. Central Philippines University or CPU in Iloilo is a campus to visit. They have a spacious 'green' grounds and well-planned campus. The campus security is okay, from gate entrance to in-campus security. CPU has a conducive learning environment. It also provides... whenever I visit CPU, I always felt that this institution sets itself apart from the rest of the universities in iloilo City by infusing architecture, culture and environment. For me, the place blended all these together that created a conducive avenue for learning, friendship and school spirit.

Got the chance to visit the university because it is a TOURIST SITE and the largest in Iloilo and it so beautiful and clean. Found out that it is the sister school of SILLIMAN UNIVERSITY and the both schools are the same in how the campus looks like...with a lengthy field lined with Acacia Trees and a church at the... One of the oldest University in Iloilo City, located in Jaro, about 15 minutes travel to the heart of the city. Well-known for good standard of education. The campus is quite big, and there's ample parking space for those who use their own private cars. Lots of food shops, and what's really good in here is the great contribution of... More

Spacious university grounds, plenty of greens, the palm trees..there are still several original buildings eating to the American period. I like them because of their sensitive design adapted to tropical Iloilo
