The staff were not very open to sharing information or speaking to me at all, until I brought out my camera and I was immediately reprimanded! Stunning building, very clean and orderly, but lacking in everything else. More

Having come from the Visayas myself, where old houses are usual and ordinary, the Gorordo Museum looks elegant and extraordinary. The area was clean and well maintained. I love the rustic feel that it had, the summer breeze that goes through and through the wooden doors and windows. I love how cool it is inside despite the fact that it's burning hot outside. I love reading those little notes where this was the reception area for suitors and designated area for chaperones, for acquaintances, and family friends...... More

Located at Parian District of Cebu, this mid-19th-century house was owned by the family of Bishop Juan Gorordo. The tour will start at the "silong" (ground floor) which was first use as storage of the family, you will see various things used by the Gorordo's in their daily routine/life. Upstairs is the lifestyle museum that features the room of Bishop... More

This is the place we opt to visit since this is also a walking distance from Yap Sandiego Ancestral house but we decided to skip that since I'm not sure if its worth the P50 entrance and you can already see see some of the stuff outside. More

This locally famous Spanish-style large house costs P55 to enter. It is surprisingly spacious. Most rooms are summarised in English. The house even has a mini-chapel where Mass was once said. The small garden is immaculate, and a respite from the busy Cebu streets. More
