For nature lovers

Entrance fee is just php 25.00 and the guides are so accomodating. What's nice about this zoo is that you can actually touch what we considered as "wild" animals.

It was not so big but the staff was very friendly and it cost only 100 pesos. We like it and you can take photos with the animals. Snake eagle monkey crocodile.

This zoo is so small. You can see everything in 15 minutes but if you take your time you will take many pictures and it will take about 1 hour. The entrance is so cheap : 25 pesos. You can take pictures with the snake, bird or crocodile with you (Free !!)

Wasn't sure what to expect at the Cebu Zoo but the staff made this visit okay. Once I paid I took a quick look around. It's rather small. I did see pictures of visitors interacting with the animals, so I enquired about it. A zoo staff member asked which animals and went with me and took all my photos. Thank... More

We understand that this zoo has no allotted funding from the national government but I was informed that there are private companies and individuals who give money to save and help improve the zoo. I think we need someone who can effectively managed the zoo even if lack of support from the government. Money is the not the question here...it's... More

July 2011 I and Philippinaife visited Cebu Zoo near the Taoist Temple. It was small with cages. It cost 50 pesos (about a dollar) admission. The Zoo keepers gave us a private tour? My wife got to sit on a Philippine Crocodile! We held large birds on our wrist. The we held very large pythons. It was cool!

The Cebu Zoo is small, but not expensive. A cab from down near the Carbon Market, for example, is about 125 pesos (approx. US $2.50). Entry fee is tiny- like 25 pesos (not even a dollar). Their tiger passed away, so the zoo has lost one of it's key attractions. The staff is very helpful, they know the animals well... More
