This place is unique - a memorial park with life size statues that portrays the station of the cross. Usually it is full during the Lenten Season. The place is accessible and easy to locate.

Celestial Garden is more known as the Good Shepherd (the name of the road) or Tanchan (name of its owners). Years ago, the road going up is difficult and uphill. Ones penance would start from the Banawa road below going up to the gardens. Now, there are habal-habal drivers waiting for you at a 20peso per person rate and deliver... More

this place is actually a memorial park of one of cebu's business families. also located in the park are a larger than life set of statues that depict the 14 stations of the cross. it is located in a hilly part of cebu city and very accessible by transportation. the last time i was there years ago, the park was...
