Imposingly stand proud and tall, beautifully and intricately crafted facade and compelling and elaborate design and humongous size those words are the best things words I could think of. This is done beautifully and offers masses in both English and Cebuano in interval schedule. This is also situated in the nearby Sto. Nino church just in case you miss to... More

This cathedral has a beautiful altar, ornately decorated in gold and fresh flowers. It has a nice garden (for Cebu standards) at the front. There is an open gate at the side of the church where one can light candles. This gate will lead you behind the cathedral where St. Joseph's chapel is located. This is a cute little chapel,... More

A Beautiful Cathedral in the Center of Cebu City. After visiting the Basilica of Santo Nino de Cebu head straight to the Cathedral.

The exterior and bell tower are very nice. It makes for some good photos. The interior is rather modern looking and well maintained.

A nice building on both the outside and inside. The grounds are well maintained and offer ample photo ops. Of particular interest is the alter. The Museum next door is not as impressive and they charge for entry with no photos except for the grounds.

We always hear Sunday masses at this church despite the distance from our house because of the ambiance & the priests who hear masses. This maybe an ancient church but with a now & then renovation which made this church all the more beautiful. The down side is the parking attendant inside the church grounds which are discourteous & pisses... More

Firstly this is not just a Cathedral the grounds are also worthy of a good look although unfortunately there are rough sleepers and beggars aplenty. It was hard to accept that this was in the centre of a busy City especially when you admired the gardens upon entry to the area which were ideal space for a moment of reflection.... More

Travelling to Cebu City? If you're a person who loves heritage and historical sites, I can suggest Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. Few meters from Rajah Humabon Monument, Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House, Casa Gorordo, Magellans Cross and Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino.
