They say that Filipinos are great artists. In order to thrive and further improve, a great performance house is a must. The the Newport Performing Arts Theater is fitting tribute and home to Filipino artistry. There are some performing arts venues in Metro Manila like the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Meralco Theater, the Carlos Romulo Auditorium, the Philam... More

I love that this theater doesn't make you walk up very steep steps like in the CCP. Also, because getting up and down is easy, the performers usually go up the audience for a more up close and personal performance.

They asked me to leave my personal tumbler at the concession stand of the Performance Arts Theater. The security who made me do it didn't point out that there are only a specific person I should leave my item to who would then give me a number. So I left it with just one of the cashiers who didn't say... More

Before the show, we went to dinner at Café Mediterranean and found their lamb stew and grilled chicken quite delicious. Their servings were hefty and can be easily shared by two people. The mint tea, served on a tea pot, was truly refreshing and can be shared by three or four. After our meal we proceeded to see the show... More

First time to watch a concert at NPAT in RW. Husband and I were impressed. Will definitely be back to watch other concerts staged here. Preferring this over Araneta or MOA. Tickets were higher and priced a bit more but guaranteed you'd be sitting comfortably and it would be worth every pero spent.

We watched the Boyce Avenue concert here last December.. and I think this is a perfect place or venue for such concerts. Very comfortable seats.. and close to the stage. The lobby is spacious. You'll never get bored if you arrived very early before the show because you can shop or dine in newport mall.

Had a great time singing familiar songs with the kids. The arrangement was well thought of. Spaces between chairs are ample and comfortable. Length of shows and breaks must be well thought of...if intended audience ranges from kids to adults because kids have shorter attention span.

Theater lovers would really be entralled with this brand new edifice. It's red seats and huge stage are great even for huge props and presentations like the King and I. What surprised me was the capacity of the theater to host buffet cocktails (unexpectedly, it has a huge lobby) prior to the evening show. This can make hosting for VIP... More
