If you want to escape the madness of Manila then head out to Greenbelt Malls. A shopping, dining and entertainment complex consisting of 5 interconnected buildings set amidst lush, well manicured gardens and ponds. For services (i.e. hardware, money changers, etc.), fast food and general merchandise, movie theaters and a performance theater, head to Greenbelt 1, for restaurants and bars... More

Its a low rise mall, only 2-3 stories. The 5 greenbelt buildings are all just about linked in a circle around ponds and trees. There are loads of bars and restaurants so a popular place to sit and people watch. Just about ever major upscale retailer is represented here. Also in Greenbelt are a plethora of pubs / bars /... I stayed in a hotel opposite the Greenbelt when visiting Manila for business. The restaurants were excellent with a wide variety of nationalities represented (Mexican, Japanese, Thai, Indian, Philippine etc etc). The prices were fairly similar to Sydney. The service and quality of food ( I dined at 3 places there during my trip) was very good. The shopping is... More

Nice big mall..have muslim restaurant name "Gilak by Hossien" on the 2nd floor greenbelt 3. The only place we like to hang out and just chill. Most of the stores selling expensive and branded items. What best is they have Pandora shop :)

Ayala Corporation's historic ownership of the Makati area has not been wasted. The Greenbelt shopping centre, a collection of five distinct buildings, is an absolute credit to Ayala Corp., with the Catholic Chapel a haven of peace in the centre of the shops and dining establishments. It is not easy to judge which restaurants are the more expensive by their... More

The Makati area is a great location with a high concentration of malls including the Greenbelt and Glorietta mall chains. There are five Greenbelt malls adjacent to each other offering a wide variety of options across retail products and services. The green landscaping is classy and blends in well with the high end decor and design of the mall structure.... More

When we arrived in Manila, it was recommended that we visit the mall of Asia, which we did, and it was ok, but the Greenbelt malls with some excellent cafes and restaurants, plus ouside dining, was just great. Highly recommeded for retail therapy :)
