We took the longest way non-stop - the concrete stairway (I lost count the steps). We were catching our breath when we reached the top!

This Cathedral equals Baguio City! No Catholic pilgrim visits Baguio without stepping into this beautiful church. It stands high and mighty at the highest point of the city's main avenue, Session Road. A must-see in the City of Pines. The only discomfort and embarrassment as usual are the public comfort rooms - HORRIBLE to say the least. The worst thing... More

One of the beautiful churches here in Baguio, with pink exterior. It is just a long Session Road, and near Burnham Park. It has souvenir store beside.

Used to be nice, but with the mall nearby & treating the church grounds as parking lot now, it's disgusting to look & doesn't feel "holy" place at all.

I like going to churches in places that I haven't been to or don't go to frequently just to say a little prayer and give thanks for the safe trip. The last time I visited this church was probably some 30 years ago. This time I was lucky because it was Palm Sunday, very solemn.

The church and its grounds have withstood World War II bombings, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake(1990), multiple typhoons, cultural , political and economic upheavals in this small mountain city. Thank goodness the church buildings still stand, the interior seems much brighter now with the lighter coat of paint, and better lighting. It was pretty full of people when I visited, and... More

On the way back to the city, it's always best to give thanks for the safe journey to...and pray for a safe journey back. You don't have to worry about parking, the parking is paid if you exceed 1 hour. The parking is guarded so you can be assured of your belongings in your car. Access is easy, you just... More
