The 'mother of all parks' in Baguio city, the summer capital of the Philippines, is a 32.84-hectare park designed by, and named after, American architect and urban planner Daniel Hudson Burnham, who also designed the original plan for Baguio City as well as Dewey Boulevard (now Roxas Boulevard) in Manila. The park has 12 main areas, the most popular of which are the Burnham Lagoon, a man-made lake with rowboats for hire; a children's playground; a skating rink; the Rose Garden and the Picnic Grove.

This park looked a reasonably place to have a stroll round and some food if it hadn't been a weekend and so busy (see you review of mines park which could also be applied here). As for us there were not to many places that were attractive as such in Baguio a visit here during the week I think should... More

I got nostalgic when I once again set foot in this park last February. Nothing much has changed when I first visited here with my family more than a decade ago, which is a good thing, since it tells us that it is well-maintained! :) It was my first time to experience the night bazaar/tiangge last Feb and I can... There are several fitness classes going on around the park every morning. I believe some start at 6 and 6:30. I went there for a walk and saw several groups of zumba, and other dance fitness classes in progress. I jumped right in and joined one of them. After the class, instructors had a box for voluntary donations, no set... More

A really spacious park where you can just sit and watch people. Also good if you like to read outdoors. There are a lot of benches so you will never run out of place to sit. You can also sit in the grass areas where you can have picnics. There are also small carinderias and ihawans near the park. Daytime... More

It is a very nice, clean and well maintained park in the middle of the Baguio City, Philippines. I have been just for a few hours here. I came here by bus from Tarlac city and after spending few hours went back in the evening. Very good for walking throughout the park and the scenic beauty is also very good.... More

Naturally, the park is crowded since we visited here during Panagbenga Festival. Pros: It's free. You can also camp here! And during our visit, there were lots of stalls selling different kind of stuff. You can also relax under the calm trees. If you want more adventure and fun, you can rent a boat with your family and/or friends. This... More
