The 'mother of all parks' in Baguio city, the summer capital of the Philippines, is a 32.84-hectare park designed by, and named after, American architect and urban planner Daniel Hudson Burnham, who also designed the original plan for Baguio City as well as Dewey Boulevard (now Roxas Boulevard) in Manila. The park has 12 main areas, the most popular of which are the Burnham Lagoon, a man-made lake with rowboats for hire; a children's playground; a skating rink; the Rose Garden and the Picnic Grove.

This was within easy walking distance from the hotel along Session Rd. Spent about half an hour just walking around the Lagoon watching people having fun. It was a quiet and a restful experience. The lightings added ambiance when it got darker. Although I would recommend to visit it during the daytime to enjoy the gardens with beautiful landscaping.

Burnham Park is totally fenced. The lagoon is filthy. My grand daughter enjoyed biking. There were no signage as to where to enter or exit, or to go to the biking area or to horseback riding, etc. Going to Burnham park took time because of traffic all around. Too crowded and air is polluted. City itself is too crowded. It... More

Every kids' dream adventure. The boat ride was superb according to my 8yo grandson. He loves the idea of paddling and going around in circle. And he loves the bicycle area too. Bike rental fee is just right and there are so many different type of bikes to choose from. The bike rental owners are very accomodating and friendly too.

Water in the lake is suffering from uncontrolled plankton blooms. The scientists from the universities around baguio should try to help solve this eyesore.

Burnham park is a well known place in Baguio City. It is always the word of the mouth of people who are going or been to Baguio, but this place seems too crowded and dirty. Unlike before, it was clean and absolutely a place to be. Pros: 1. Easy access- It is very easy to find and the place is... More

Was expecting a lot more for such a large park in the heart of Baguio. Guess I was wrong, as usual there is a lack of upkeep throughout the park, and there are signs everywhere you look telling you don't pick flowers, don't litter, don't do this don't do that......We took the kids on a boat ride and that was... Lots of activities to choose from, from dawn until midnight, even way past midnight. Perfect for adults and kids, families, couples, friends and even going solo. Activities include joining zumba groups, jogging around the park, boating, biking, playing at the amusement park, food tripping, having picnics, watching the dancing fountain or just hanging out while people watching.

You can't never miss this place whenever you're going to Baguio. It is easily accessible and there are many things to do here. You can relax by just sitting in the park, enjoy boating with your friends, and go stroll the place while biking. If you have a lot of time to kill, go here and you'll surely have an... More

Probably the famous and the most crowded in the parks of Baguio City. Here we just strolled and relaxed at the side benches watching the swan boats and kids riding bikes. It has also a dancing fountain with colorful lights.
