The 'mother of all parks' in Baguio city, the summer capital of the Philippines, is a 32.84-hectare park designed by, and named after, American architect and urban planner Daniel Hudson Burnham, who also designed the original plan for Baguio City as well as Dewey Boulevard (now Roxas Boulevard) in Manila. The park has 12 main areas, the most popular of which are the Burnham Lagoon, a man-made lake with rowboats for hire; a children's playground; a skating rink; the Rose Garden and the Picnic Grove.

Good place to spend time with the family. Had a good time pedaling along the lake with my sister. The locals are friendly and nice. One thing i like is that its close to everything, close to stores, dining places and of course the ukay ukay stores.

Try the rides, tandem bike, boating or just roam around or sit on the bench. A great way to spend the outdoors with your family

Small Park with some vendors and food in the center of Baguio. Not that pretty of a park but something to do if you are bored and looking to see some stuff in the city square.

Pine trees in The Philippines. The park here is beautiful and dates back over a hundred years during the U.S. occupation

The park itself seems to have deter-rioted since the massive renovation a few years back. Grass on the football field is overgrown and city hall seems to be waiting for some ruling or another for the future of this once great park in Baguio city. We did venture to see what the night market was about and in spite of... More

Burnham Park is a nice place for a walk, picnic or just hang out. We particularly liked the small nurseries where you can get some great deals on plants for your garden.

Visiting burnham park is like revisiting your childhood- you walk around, ride bikes, play, ride swans in the lagoons, eat strawberry taho, hot corn cob and others. You just forget all that's bothering you and focus on a guilt-free tour. At 4pm, there is a fountain and lights show every 30mins at the rose garden while the streets at night... More

Burnham Lake is still muddy, and the boats are quite dirty. The oval for track and field still has its runners, but getting there is more difficult because of the numerous vehicles and the street construction. AT least you'll get a chance to shop around with the many stalls lined up with various souvenirs and food items.
