The 'mother of all parks' in Baguio city, the summer capital of the Philippines, is a 32.84-hectare park designed by, and named after, American architect and urban planner Daniel Hudson Burnham, who also designed the original plan for Baguio City as well as Dewey Boulevard (now Roxas Boulevard) in Manila. The park has 12 main areas, the most popular of which are the Burnham Lagoon, a man-made lake with rowboats for hire; a children's playground; a skating rink; the Rose Garden and the Picnic Grove.

Ths park is synonimous with Baguio. Located at the middle of the city, the park attracts man visitors. Strolling around the park, while enjoying the cool climate is a unique Baguio experience. The park is also home to many species of plants and flowers, a man-made lagoon where you can enjoy boating, an amusement park, and a biking area. At... More

I have been coming to this park multiple times in several years. I have noticed that the park is undermaintained. Multiple cracks in the streets. Car meters are unoperational. Lights and water features are not being displayed.

The perfect place for families. There are rides, food and souvenir items. Tropical fruits and their Baguio vegetables can be purchased there.

Good for picnicking and being surrounded by trees and plants. Unfortunately, it can be quite noisy and crowded at times. Dont mind the hawkers selling you veggies they'll stop bothering you if you dont react. Enjoy the warm sun and cool breeze. Good place to walk and just enjoy the weather. Kids can ride bikes for rent and mommies can... More

This is a lovely place if you like to get away from the intensity of the Philippine city environment. This is a botanical garden with Japan settings and statues. This theme is a remnant of occupation during the Second World War. Being Baguio it is cool and comfortable. I visited a couple days after extreme weather so there was damage... More

Burnham Park is just a classic place in Baguio that you can't miss. We all enjoyed a boat ride and my kids also rode a bike. It wasn't too crowded when we went so it was a nice leisure time.

I remember coming to Baguio year after year and never missing to drop by Burnham Park. Well, those were the times when my children were just in elementary. Now, I have 2 grandchildren with me. What makes it a must to see in Baguio is the vast area blooming with flowers. Cool air and it's freshness brightens one's morning. The... More

Almost all the tourist who goes to Baguio City drop by at this park. This is located in the center of the city and it offers a lot of activities. You can do biking, walking, boating & skating here to mention a few. This is also surrounded by a lot of eateries and restaurants. Nearby are the public market, catholic... More
