Bencab Museum showcases not only the works of art of the National Artist for Visual Arts, BenCab but also of budding artists. Best time to visit the museum is in the morning during summer. Travel time is around 20 minutes from the city center. If you do not have a car, you may ride the cab (and ask the driver... More

Ben Cab Museum is best visited early in the day, before the fog comes in to block the amazing view. The museum has a magnificent collection, with thought provoking pieces, sculptures that trigger pride in the Pinoy culture and open your eyes to the array of art that can be found from the Cordilleras alone, and contemporary art that will... We enjoyed our visit to the BenCab Museum. We availed of a guided tour of the museum. We ended at Cafe Sabel which is a cozy cafe/resto that opens up to the wonderful garden area and beautiful mountain view. There is an entrance fee of P100.00 per person and gave a tip to the guide (no fixed rate). The whole... More

Baguio city doesn't have a lot of interesting museum. Bencab is about 15 minutes away from the city, going through the secluded area of asin. The museum itself is great with interesing art and has a nice cafe with a garden outside with gazebo and small bridge and a pond. The food is good with their homegrown ingredients, prices are not... More

Its one of the newest attractions in Baguio City. Situated in an area that's quite far from the city, however worth your time and effort. It showcases the collection of the national artist Ben Cabrera, and some invited artists. It is not a typical museum thats commonly owned by the government, its more on the proper classification of paintings and... More

Excellent architecture that gave us continued sense of light and open space despite the fog and pouring rain outside and the small crowd of fellow visitors pouring in. Wonderful collection of Ifugao art, thought-provoking contemporary art, blush-inducing erotica wing, and a collection of paintings in the maestros' wing by sikat artists Arturo Luz, Ang Kiukok, Edades, Araceli Dans, etc. Capped... Ben Cabrera is an iconic Filipino artist. He's chosen a beautiful setting to house his works and those of other talented artists.

The collection featured in the museum was really nice, interesting and showcases the history and rich culture of Philippine art. But because of the relatively long drive from the city proper, more likely all visitors will dine at Cafe Sabel. However, food was not great and was pricey considering the value you're getting out of it.

I am fond of galleries and museums and Ben Cab museum is no exception. I was already eager to have a visit to this place since I have heard of it last year. The museum has four floors including a garden and a cafe (Cafe Sabel) located at the basement. The garden has a good view of a mountain, the... More

While the main attraction of this museum is undoubtedly the artwork, there is much more for those who don't particularly enjoy going to museums. There is native furniture that you can actually touch, fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, and a café that serves organic fare. Avail of the services of a guide if you can and don't forget to... More
