Not your typical musuem as this is surrounded by lush greens and a man-made pond. Basically offering art forms in different mediums - one can always find something in there that will touch you to your very soul. Mine was this painting in vibrant spring colors, got a picture of it but it turned out blurred. Went their while the... More

Some of our guests invited us to lunch at Ben Cab Museum (Cafe) & not needing much of an excuse to tour the ever changing Art exhibitions, we accepted the invitation. As usual the museum's exhibits were of an excellent standard and we were also quite happy to see that the items on the menu in the Cafe were just... More

It was our first time to visit Ben Cab. I was informed that Ben Cabrera had all his art work and collections in this place. Though I know nothing of art, surprisingly, I was happy to join our group. The place was spacious and well organized. Ben Cab's paintings, art collections, gifts from his friends were all displayed accordingly, by... More

A must see place in Baguio. It is for art & cultural appreciation, consisting of wood carvings & paintings. There is also a mini cafe with a beautiful mountain view and a very nice landscape garden. As a regular visitor of Baguio, I may say that this is a different experience.

Benedicto Cabrera, National Artist for Visual Arts. That's the only thing I know about BenCab. Okay, so the 50-peso parking fee situated near frontage of the museum was a turn-off. But I was so excited to see the works of this man, this genius as I read in the papers, I told myself the memories of this unplanned visit is... More

Beautiful setting for extensive collection of wood carvings and contemporary art. Plan a few hours, because you will want to see it all. Parking is challenging.

The Museum is way out of the city proper but surely your visit will be worth it. Aside from BenCab's superb works, you'll see wide array of art works and collections from the past to present. You need not worry if you overindulged with the exhibits as they serve delicious food in Cafe Isabel with breathtaking view.

Nowadays, a visit to Baguio would not be complete without dropping by BenCab Museum. Though it is quite far from the city center, a trip to this museum is a must. You will not regret it.

My sister in law wanted to check it out so we went there as our last stop before heading back home. It was an art museum with some interesting pieces and a view that was better than the art pieces being displayed. We also had our lunch there at Cafe Isabel, the food was good but the servers can be... More
