National Geographic July 2004 edition has a doom & gloom theme, but the paintings are bright, extensive & remarkably well preserved. Most of the visitors to Huaca de Moche (Sol y Luna) also wanted to visit El Brujo, until certain guide books (& even the information office in Trujillo) incorrectly said El Brujo was closed.
