Do not visit this location at dusk, the bugs swarm so bad you can't fight your way out of it. We usually visit going or coming to Puno from the airport. A very interesting burial site set upon a beautiful small lake. I love playing with the street vendors children on the path up to the ruins as well as... More

We stayed one night here after visiting the floating islands and Taquile island. The staff here are excellent, the food is tasty and the scenery is spectacular. The one BIG complaint is that they charge a LOT for a bottle of water and there is no alternative. We did not know that we should have brought our own water as... More

A three-hour boat ride from bustling Puno finds you in this tranquil island. It could be a million miles away, it's beautiful, peaceful, a great place to rest. The accommodation and food are first-class. We had one of the suites with a huge bed, wood-burning stove and hot water bottle. The staff are very helpful, and the clear night sky... More

Really a beautiful and relaxing stay on this private island on lake Titicaca. Suasi island offers incredibles views of distant mountains , islands of Bolivia, orange sunsets and an unforgettable night sky . You can really take advantage of the beauty of the lake in a serene and relaxing environment. The hotel ( which is no longer part of Casa... More

We stayed at the only hotel on this small island. Really beautiful and very well looked after by the owner. Top is 4010m. We walked up for a spectacular sunset. Seeing wild lamas and vicunas so close to take pictures was fun. The night sky is also amazing. A must to stay here one night.

we stayed at the casa andina at isla suasi for a day and loved the island ambience. The sunset hike and the morning hike to the museum were great with guide Albert The checkin girl Bryce was inefficient and rude... that was the only negative

No phones, no cars, no noise, no barking dogs. Just beautiful scenery, good food, excellent service and a very quiet couple of days to relax.. Take the evening sunset walk and see the alpacas and guanacos. They light the fire in your room to take the chill off, and even put a hot bottle in your bed. Watch out for... More

Great food! Staff eager to make our visit all it could be! Beautiful views of Lake Titicaca! Be aware that due to solar power the lights go out at 10:00pm until 6:00am. This ensures that you get a wonderful night's sleep and wake ready to hear the birds chirping and to see the beautiful flowers blooming! Raul is a wonderful... More
