We were not sure which Island to visit on Lake Titicaca but are glad we chose Isla Suasi. Beautiful which great views. Nice short trails with llamas, alpacas and vicunas. It is a small island so a few days is fine to stay here. Perfect place to veg-out.

We spent 2 days and one night in Suasi. If I had known, I would spent 3-4 days there. The island is beautiful, the sky is amazing, plants and animals are incredible. We went to the top to see sunset with the hotel guide but we went to explore rocks, the lake, wherever by ourselves and it was amazing. My... More

We enjoyed the flora and fauna of Isla Suasi while staying at the Ecolodge. Hiking to the top of the island to watch the sun set is a must!

We had a pretty heavy 3 week program in Peru and Bolivia. The altitudes are also not to be underestimated. We chose to stay 2 nights (unheard off ;-) in Suasi to relax and enjoy Lake Titicaca. We are glad we did. You will arrive around lunch time - food is awesome by the way !! You have the hike... More

I have to say that the visit to Suasi Island was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect much after being overwhelmed by the majestic Andes mountains and the amazing Inkan stonework. All I need is a quiet place to relax and escape from the crowd. This little island turned out to be a hidden gem. The hike to see the... More

Susasi Island's eco-lodge, Casa-Andina was a perfect place to unwind and relax! The island had plenty of outside activities such a hiking or kayaking/canoeing or napping in a hammock. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a wide variety of flowers! While hiking look for the alpacas!

Come here to stay overnight or for a few nights. The island is flush with flowers. You can hike and see alpacas grazing, as well as wild vicunas and vizcachas (chinchilla like rabbits). You won't see the same fauna on Tequile, but the landscape and the flora are the same as on Tequile. Therefore, if you spent a day visiting... More

Beautiful lush garden, great food and helpful stuff. Lunch served as BBQ in the garden, overlooking the lake. Hammocks and bed chairs available to relax. I would recommend rooms in the upper floor as they get naturally heated through sunshine during the day. The rooms at the ground floor are a bit dark and cold. Make sure the fire oven... More

This is the only privately owned island on Lake Titicaca. It is small but has a nice hill with a great view of the lake. It takes about 3.5 hours to reach this island as it is on the eastern side of the lake. It has a herd of wild alpacas as well as vicunas. There is a wonderful 24 room... More
