During the heat of the day (during the week at least) it's deserted and there is absolutely no shade. But the place comes to life around sunset and most of the beach bars/restaurants begin to open around 5pm. At both ends of the beach there are very clean toilet blocks (white buildings, 2000G) and there are a heap of volleyball... More

good for paraguay, since there are no ocean beaches. nice and clean with life guards. we were there in winter so not many people, we could imagine how this place comes to life in the summer months. very clean and tidy and well maintained.

A Vraiment clean beach. You can swim in the river but NOT beyond the yellow buoys. There's an exercise park. Go for sunset... its quite amazing!

Ideal for families. Good room for running, biking, beach wandering, and just hanging out. No public bathrooms in sight or at least not obviously so.

Its about 5 minutes walk from the main roads of Encarnation. beers are more expensive in these bars but the riverside views ere clean. a nice area compared to the... More

The beach is small and I think at weekends during the summer it is standing room only. Good restaurants and even better toilets

Imagine being in the middle of the south america continent and suddenly you're at the beach. It's a small beach, but large enough to have a couple bars. The beach is at the Parana river. On de the other side you can see the argentinian city of Posadas. You're allowed to swim a couple inside the river, but not outside the marked... More
