We had a very good trip guided by Fernando. We were picked up from our hotel promptly at 8 and drove to the snorkel/dive site near Portobelo. There were 2 snorkelers and 2 scuba divers in the van but Fernando took us snorkelers out separately from the scuba divers so we could go at our own pace. We really appreciated... More

I look forward to my dives when I go to Panama (twice a year). Yeah....maybe the attractions are different than other places in the Caribbean and elsewhere, but overall, I enjoy the dives, and the people and divemasters that I meet. This trip, we enjoyed unbelievably delicious pineapple as a treat between dives. We also enjoyed conversation waistdeep in a... More

I travel to Panama often and completed my PADI Certification under the instructor, Christian years ago. It was an amazing experience and as someone who had not been overly enthusiastic about the idea of scuba diving for most of my life, I was comforted by the instructors knowledge and rigorous course I completed at ScubaPanama's city location. After my first... More

We arranged and booked our stay in Portobelo directly on the Scubapanama web site. It has been very difficult to get information we needed... If you send an email, wait several days to hope an answer ! We arrive at the diving center, which also includes the cabines, at 9 PM; nobody to welcome us but after a while, two... More

I highly appreciate your feedback. Sorry for the inconvenience but our reservation website clearly describes the reception HOURS, from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Unfortunately we cannot control the visibility and the weather conditions, my dive master recalls that the group had a day with heavy rain. We tried our best and even took the group farther away from usual dive spots... More

myself and 3 friends decided after a week of reef diving in santa catalina it would be a great experience to do a wreck dive. We contacted scuba panama and inquired whether they did the wreck dive and whether it was ok to do it on an open water certificate. They advised us that this was fine. We decided to... More

I found Scuba Panama on Trip Advisor and reached out by email prior to a recent trip. The staff got right back to me and was responsive regularly as I planned our outting. Seems basic but other outfitters in Panama weren't as professional. They made sure we knew where we were going and what we needed. Prices were clear and... More

Very good experience. Victor from Panama Star vacations made all of the arrangements for us so i cant say what the communication was like. My son was finishing off his 4 open water dives for his padi certification and had Christian as an instructor, very professional, extremely friendly and very good English. The only reason we gave it a 4... More

Overall, the experience was "OK." A group of three of us were trying to reserve a multi-day scuba trip to Portobelo with Scuba Panama. We sent numerous emails, and called them numerous times to get price information, and make reservations. It took days for them to reply to our emails, and when we FINALLY got ahold of somebody on the... More

This is an all day tour. The Scuba Panama team picked me up around 7:30am at my hotel. We picked up a few other divers then headed over to the Pacific dive site. It was great to see all of the boats waiting to enter the canals while we traveled by boat to the Pacific dive site. Unfortunately, visibility is... More

This all day scuba excursion was one of the first things I booked when I arrived in Panama City. Edwin, the driver was 15 minutes early picking me up in the morning from the front door of my building in a comfortable van with air conditioning. He was professional and friendly and also ended up being my dive partner later... More
