We arrived in Colon Panama on the Celebrity Equinox and had planned a tour with My Friend Mario. The company's directions were spot on and the guide was waiting for us. After the group had gotten together we boarded our bus with our tour guide Fanny. Fanny is a wonderful young woman who really knows her way and is extremely... More

We had a 7 hrs layover recently in Panama City and Mario #2 was assigned to pick us from the airport and show us the around. Unfortunately when we reached Miraflores lock, we missed the last ship crossing usually only in the morning hours. Mario #2 was kind enough to immediate suggest we go to the Gatun lock at Colon... Perhaps I am judging by too high of a standard, but the trip was fine, but not truly awesome. We were in port for a day off the of the cruise ship. We pre-planned a custom tour that was to be 7-7.5 hours long, to involve a rain forest tour, a tour of Monkey island, and a tour of the Gatun... More

Our name was on the list so we knew we were in the right hands. our guides name was Alex and he sure knew his history and all about the rainforest and plants, animals and insects. We were about 14 in a van. Nice small... More

As with the other reviews on this page we had an amazing day visiting the Panama Canal locks at the Atlantic Side before going into the national park to see native Indians and swim in a remote pool adjacent to a waterfall. Our trip was booked weeks in advance with no requirement for an up front payment. Joining instructions from... More
