So, like a tourist I took the long steep way up. But nice ambiance and awesome cup of coffee were my rewards. And being told the easy way down, priceless. Pretty muddy trek after a lot of rain.

Great tour for our family learning about cocoa growth and other fauna. Learned so much and LOVED the samples and trying all the different fruits. Be sure to make a reservation as they like to keep the tours to an enjoyable number for all. Our youngest,5, got a little antsy by the end. Not suggested for those with ambulatory issues.... More

Please read other reviews about the walk potentially being unsafe (which is why we never went to this place alone). We had no problems, others just say there have been muggings on the route so we were careful. This place is in a beautiful setting far away from it all. The home grown cocoa with coconut milk drink is fantastic... More

This little gem is nestled in the rainforest at the top of the hill on Isla Bastimento in the Bocas del Toro archipelago in Panama. The hike up the hill has been made somewhat more comfortable by the addition of concrete blocks and logs set into the clay as "stairs". Don't be fooled however, it can be a difficult climb... More

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful time staying in one of the cabins for 2 nights recently. The cabin was truly gorgeous in every aspect! The view was stunning and the surrounding jungle were fascinating. It felt like we were in our own little world but were only 1 minute from the gorgeous shop and 15 minutes from... More

I went three days in a row to this lovely little cafe. It's a beautiful walk up (just follow the signs) even when it was raining so hard that I was "walking up a river" to get there! The hot chocolates are yummy and it's just a nice place to spend an afternoon there reading a few pages of a... More

My husband, son (9), daughter (6), MIL (86) and I had what we all will remember as one of the best tours we have ever taken on a vacation, and we have traveled all over the world. Javier, the owner, led us on an incredibly informative and interesting walk throughout his permaculture farm, showing us everything from the cocoa trees... More

Great location. Janette and Javi leave you to enjoy the cabin as your own home but are on hand if you need anything. Rainforest around you - great bird and mammal life. Really enjoyed late afternoon walks to and fro Wizard beach. Latter is as attractive as the famous Red Frog beach but has far fewer visitors. Red frogs abound... More

5 days in one of their 2 cabins was the best of our month in Panama! The cabana was 5 stars, the surroundings and the brownies made it even a 6 star stay! Make sure that if you don't have the luxoury of staying in one of their cabanas, you do have breakfast (home made granola!!) or lunch. For 5... More
