Hey all, my little brother climbed the volcano a couple of weeks ago with some friends. They went by themselves, without a guide. We hired Feliciano, a local man who is absolutely adorable and has been doing hiking trips for 20 years in Boquete, to take us up the Volcano. Because we were in the rainy season, we opted to leave at 1am and hike in the dark to arrive at the top for sunrise. This is your best bet for seeing both... more
