Very informative tour of a small coffee plantation. The guide, Jason, is like a professor of coffee -- he knows everything. I visited two other coffee plantations and learned the most at this one by far. Also, this plantation is more interesting from the standpoint of their size and ingenuity -- they make some of their own equipment. To me... More

This was my first visit to a coffee plantation and I did learn a lot. A guide will take you around the gardens first and then around the factory. The English speaking guide was very articulate and knowledgeable. The tour costs $30 per person but is worth it. At the end you get to sample coffee and a you are... More

This was our third time visiting Boquete and in a previous visit we had done a coffee tour that we really enjoyed. We wondered how another tour would be different or as enjoyable as our first. Well, we found a fantastic tour with Finca Dos Jeffes. The four of us had an outstanding tour with Rich. He was extremely knowledgeable... More

If you do nothing else while you are in Bouquete, make arrangements to do the coffee farm tour of Finca Dos Jefes. You can read a number of the reviews on line and I think you will get an idea that there is no way you can go wrong. Rich is without a doubt a most gracious host and as... More

Absolutely recommend this tour whether you like coffee or not! Rich, the owner and guide is so passionate about his farm and the entire coffee industry that he makes this tour extremely interesting for everyone. Visited with my 20 year daughter who does not drink coffee and she ranked this tour in the 3 highest activities we did in Panama!... More

Great day at the coffee tour. Went with my husband and three children ages 7, 9, and 10. It was pleasant and informative for both adults and children. The kids got to wonder around a bit and play with the farm's four dogs too so that was nice. Just the right mix of education and conversation. Bravo on a great... More

My girlfriend and I went on this tour with her parents from Germany and we couldn't recommend the tour more highly. The guide, Rich, offers interesting insights into the history and social aspects of coffee production. The grounds are stunning and you see lush fruit trees and great views over the valley in addition to the coffee plants. We thought... More

Even though some people in our group don't drink coffee, the tour was very interesting and informative. The owner is very knowlegeable, generous in comments and passionate about his subject, which transpires in the tour. This is a must do in Boquete!

We learned quite a lot about coffee. Richard really knows his stuff. He talked about the industry and what he would like to change about it. We got to sample different kinds and took a nice tour of his farm. We also liked that he did a lot for the community both trying to improve conditions for workers (this means... More

I've been on coffee tours before, including a coffee cupping fair, and wasn't expecting much. We could have taken the traditional tour at Finca Lerida where we were staying, but bought this as part of a package with Boquete Outdoor Tours. Were we ever glad we did. Richard is an American who bought this 2.5 hectare coffee farm, Finca Dos... More
