Lovely access by boat. Make sure to spot dolphins and pack swim wear for some paddling. Early outings advised to beat the crowds...

One of the best places I have been to in life Amazing and serene views on the edge of strait of Hormuz You can see a lot of tourists, many birds Also at one place you see the telegraph island which was one of the first British spying outposts, a mark of the dark colonial era which the western world... We traveled on Jan 2015, from Dubai, crossed the Ras Al Khaima-Oman Border, where UAE charges 35 AED/person as exit charge and Oman charges 50 AED for an entry Visa. The border procedures can take around an hour for an average queue. Make sure that you take your Vehicle Insurance policy covering Oman if you are driving own car, if... More

Beautiful view from the top, very nice off-road ways for a jeep, good conditions for fishing or camping by the sea.

Very well organised day trip & worth the 3.5 hour bus trip from Dubai. Crossing the border in and out can take some time but not a real hassle. The dhow was comfortable and the 6 hours on the water a real treat. Tranquil fjords, dolphin spotting and time for swim before & after lunch. Plenty of fish to view... More

A trip to the northern Musandam peninsula is well worthwhile. The main city of Khasab is a bit barren and desolate, but the fjords are breathtaking. The dhows are not that expensive so you can charter one for yourself. The ride through Khor ash-sham is beautiful. Although the snorkeling is not great, the swimming is fun and the water is... More

Nice little outing in the sea, with occasional sighting of the dolphins that seem to pop up in groups for fleeting moments before disappearing.

The traditional wooden Dhow tour cost us 70 euro for 3 adults and child for 3 hours. You sit around the edge of the boat on comfortable cushions with a large rug in the center. All very Arabian. We were served saffron tea, dates, cool drinks and fruit. There was a small, clean toilet on-board. Mesmerizing landscape of jagged white... More

Do the whole day trip - you see dolphins, do some fantastic snorkeling, have a great fresh fish lunch and get to relax and drink tea while nice Omanis entertain your kids with local folklore. Wonderful trip.
