Landscape is a little monotonous, but still nice. You can't see anything except sun, sea and rocks. It's nice for snorkeling. Traditional Ottoman ships are too rocking and I don't recommend them to those who have problems with nausea.

We did the full day dhow trip. Very comfortably seated on lots of cushions, nice lunch, swimming towels provided and even a (clean) toilet available - taking the dhow trip is a must if you want to see the weird and wonderful (not similar to anywhere else) setting of this remote outcrop of the Sultanate of Oman.

Great day out doing something different! Sun, sea and dolphins with beautiful cliff formations and a bit of history with Telegraph Island!

The fjords were a world removed from what we were used to. It is staggering to note how remote some of the islands are - and how scenic. You even get to snorkel and swim while out on one of the m any dhow cruises to the fjords.

Idyllic. Loved the history, tour guide was very informative. The snorkelling was interesting, so much to see. The dhow ride was good, the company was interesting nd the inch was wholesome.

If you visit Khasab on a cruiseship book your tour to the Oman fjords directly with one of the dhow cruise operators in Khasab instead of on the ship. We booked a full day trip that was much cheaper than the half day trip sold on the ship. Operators will be awaiting you on the dock. The often made comparison... More
