Local artists in Essouria

Many local artists are represented and shown in a meaningful way. Though some of the artists are represented by several galleries, the Damgaard was one of the nicer ones.

We wandered round this part of town and it was most interesting. There are lots of small shops selling artefacts. There is a post office and lots of art galleries and arty things to purchase. The whole area is very respectful respectable and relaxed, no one is at you to buy a single thing...how pleasant is that. In one gallery... More

We enjoyed this Art Gallery very much. Lots of interesting locally produced art pieces. We ended up buying a vibrant oil piece. It nows hangs beautifully in our NYC apt. We love it!

We really enjoy this gallery and to see the work of a variety of local artists - they are very individual but yet have a cohesion. We think they deserve international exposure.

Absolutely worth a visit. Local artists display their art. Many very talanted and most quite affordable. Transport home may limit your choice.

A good space for expose nice and intersting pictures. Near to both Sbaa Door and El Minzah Door in a great square closed by the ancient walls of medina

A nice little gallery with some surprising art showcasing local artists. Just don't expect too much.

Clean, up to date. My wife liked the artwork as I was getting tired after a long day. The museum was in the middle of the medina.

Bought a piece, wanted another but could not figure out how to ship home. Non- tourist collection in an area ripe for normal pabula. Keep up the good work!
