It involves a small climb, but gives you a good view and lends itself to some good 'Kodak' moments! You are away from the malls and can spend some quality time with your loved one without being badgered to buy something

Love the walk to get to the ramparts and they give you a glimpse of the what the town would have been like. I love the view out to see and watching the locals fishing and siting on the rocks. You can get the full force of the sea winds.

I noticed people on top of the rampart walls then realized there was an entrance to the right of the main walkway.Ipaid the 10 Dhs and began walking around, taking picuters then climbed the steps inside the rampart all the way to the top. The views were breathtaking and photos of the arch and circle with thenew city behind fun.

Essaouira, former called Mogador, is one of the most known Maroccan city and its walls are very impressive. You must climb on the ramparts to see an amazing sea and city landscape.

It is an easy walk around and makes some very nice photos. The views of the harbour and further afield is also wortwhile.

The ramparts are pretty cool, and create great views over the brilliant crashing waves, and the ramparts themselves have some awesome cannons on them, and are nice for a little walk, and get to look over the shops selling beautifully carved wooden sculptures from about, and so without any hassle from the venders.

Well worth a visit. The sea crashes like you have never seen sea crash. It's awesome! If you like city wall ramparts, canons, rocks waves, foaming sea fume, spray, heights, wind. These ramparts are blooming exciting and exhilarating. Not to be missed
