Après les travaux de restauration, il est devenu le premier hammam marocain chauffé par énergie thermo solaire. After my first visit I crabbed my way home and slept like a baby for 10 hours! An eco hammam with organic argan and olive oils and solar heated water. You are treated like a baby and scrubbed, oiled and massaged into total relaxation. A traditional hammam, not a glitzy tourist establishment in one of the oldest hammams in the... More

I was expecting a very relaxed, soothing massage (probably my fault because I hadn't really read up all that much about a traditional Moroccan hammam). It was nuts! I would recommend the experience to anyone who's slightly adventurous and looking for an authentic experience! Don't go it you have sunburn, but your skin will never have felt better. I was... More

The hammam is clean, small, could have been warmer. For hotel guests it is free of charge, but for others is quite expensive, compared to others, specially if you order some procedures done.

If you research typical hammams so that you know what to expect, you'll be very pleased with this one. It was beautifully decorated but not overdone, clean and RELAXING. I was scrubbed down... More

The interior of this Hammam is really beautiful, but the temperature was actually quite cold for a Hammam. My boyfriend and I went for the full treatment (one hour and a half for 1800 drh). My treatment was okay, the girls working there really did their best to keep us satisfied, but the Hammam - which is cosy but small... More

My wife and I tried the hamam experience at the Lalla Mira because it claimed to be the oldest in Essaouira, it was reasonably priced, and it uses solar power to heat the water. The facility is quite small not like the big public baths I experienced in Turkey. Consequently, the social aspect of the bath was completely lacking. The... More
