By small groups (8 persons maximum) and supervised by a professional team (a cook and a trilingual presenter) our hosts discover the secrets of Moroccan gastronomy and are initiated into the delights of one of the best cuisine in the world. In a friendly and casual atmosphere, those half-day workshops teach each participant how to prepare a full traditional meal that one can then easily reproduce at home. « less

I signed up for the course at Madada Mogador and was told that I would be the second person in the class. When I arrived the first person had cancelled so I received a private lesson. What a treat! We made a delicious eggplant appetizer and beef couscous. Both were fabulous. It was a real treat being with Mona and... More

Fortunately we created a chicken tajine under the supervision of Mona and Alison at the end of our trip. Otherwise our previous meals would probably have seemed rather disappointing. We were a group of mothers with adult daughters, and not all of us were experts in the kitchen. Everybody had a wonderful time! The location is beautiful, the staff professional... More

Great cooking class in a very nice environment. Professional and smoothly run course. Mona and Alison made us feel welcome and as we didn't speak french, Alison translated everything to us. We learned how to make mint tea and then an entree and a tajine. The trip to the spice market was also fun, and interesting.

My husband and I booked the course after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and in Lonely Planet. We were not disappointed. The cookery school is a beautifully designed working kitchen. Mona the chef and her assistant Alison were very welcoming and put us at ease immediately. As we were the first to book on the course, we were lucky... More

Do this course it was well prepared, good fun and excellent value. We also had a tour of the spice market and ate our own meals with a bottle of wine. Don't expect to be able to move after lunch though, tons of food !!

Very well run course, Mona and Alison make you feel really welcome. My daughter and I had great time. we have never been on a cookery class before and I was a little concerned, because although I love cooking I would not consider myself to be a good cook I am now home and going to practice on my husband.... A great morning learning how to cook some Moroccan classics. Mona the chef and Alison the translator work really well together and make this workshop both informative and fun! The cookery school is very clean and modern supplying everything you need for the class. We learnt how to make mint tea then we prepared briouats and a chicken tagine, then... More

Alison and Mona are amazing teachers. I was very positively surprised with my abilities to cook after the dish was served. The course is also very professionally maid. It is not the first time I attend a cooking course, but this was by far most suitable for my skills. The place is also fabulous! I mean starting from the decorations... More

While ho-hum about being booked in initially, once it got going it was fantastic. Translator Alison from UK, now a local translated for Mona - best Moroccan cook ever. We made pasties I.e. The crescent shaped almond filled sweet plus a cookie. Well taught, we were very hands-on plus though Alison we got some very interesting cultural insights about Morocco.... More

We did the afternoon pastry class, 3:30-5:30 for Dirham 200. (I believe this is not run daily so check first and the limit is 8 people). Mona the chef and Alison the translator were delightful and attentive. We learnt to cook two biscuits and having eaten them before in Morocco, I had no idea how much effort is put into... More
