By small groups (8 persons maximum) and supervised by a professional team (a cook and a trilingual presenter) our hosts discover the secrets of Moroccan gastronomy and are initiated into the delights of one of the best cuisine in the world. In a friendly and casual atmosphere, those half-day workshops teach each participant how to prepare a full traditional meal that one can then easily reproduce at home. « less

Spotlessly clean restaurant with friendly instruction. They can accommodate up to 8 people and the first ones to book for that lesson get to choose the 2 dishes - a main and an accompaniment. I would have liked to see how more dishes are made but they do e-mail you a series of recipes More

We'll join the crowd and say - this really was the highlight of our trip! A beautiful space, very professionally run, lots of fun, and most importantly - DELICIOUS! We made 2 different types of briouates, a tagine with onion, raisins, and honey, and of course Moroccan mint tea. This is the place to do a cooking class in Morocco.... More

I spent an excellent morning at Atelier Madada to cook a fish tajine and some briouates. The kitchen is big and beautiful, ingredients of very good quality, experienced chefs to teach you. The classes were well done, the time gone quickly, it was fun and the meal was really delicious. The price isn't cheap for Morocco but the quality is... More

Very professional set up, lovely atmosphere, good rapport between everyone, gained tips on chopping and peeling (however good you think you are you can be better!). we were taken to the spice market while the tagine was cooking, and came back to a sumptuous meal! all in all a great experience. This cookery workshop has been the highlight of our trip! We did the cookery workshop with our two boys aged 10 and 12. They absolutely loved it and so did we. The staff were charming and so helpful. We made delicious tagging and later ate it. The boys managed everything - with a little help occasionally to chop things finely... More

This was a wonderful way to learn to cook a Moroccan tangine, do a bit of spice shopping and eat a delicious lunch. The owner and Mona the head chef were a perfect team to share cooking tips as well as very interesting cultural insights into Moroccans and their food. Highly recommended. More

Cooking classes are popping up all over Morocco - but I doubt if any surpasses the wonderful class held at l'Atelier Madada. I did a cookery class at a high-end riad on the outskirts of Marrakech in 2010 .. it was hopeless. What a different experince at l'Atelier Madada ! A wonderful, hands-on , informative morning , a visit to... More

Myself and 2 friends took part in the afternoon pastry workshop. We all had a great time, Nour-eddine & Mona were very welcoming and informative, made everyone feel relaxed and made us work hard! (was slighly worried the session might be a "watch and learn" but this was hands on and all the better for it) Wonderful to sit on... More
