One of the venue where all resort owners will have in their snorkelling itinerary. Usually very crowded especially during long local public holidays and school holidays. The crowd could easily reach 2,000 during the peak season. Area permitted for snorkelling is not very big but sufficient for one to see all the various types of colourful marine lives. One of the highlight... More

The water is crystal clear, which gives good view from over the water. Just get some bread, and you can enjoy your time with Fishes all around you. Especially kids enjoy. You can spot the Clown Fish Nemo The view is picturesque and can take photographs. Dont forget to get your DSLR. and obviouly good spot for snorkelling. A must visit

Redang Marine Park is a great place to snorkel with abundance of fishes and beautiful corals to admire. However, you do have to swim further a bit from the shore if you want to see good corals and creatures like moray eels and Christmas tree corals. The marine park also have some sort of museum or exhibition place for you... More

Area is suitable for newbie in snorkeling. As it's got a beach, and control area for snorkelers. Good that now the local authority are taking small steps in ensuring that the the marine life don't get trashed e.g. banning fins on snorkelers that might break the corals. Dislike that some tourist can be inconsiderate and still litter.

Beware of strong rip currents near the shipwreck. It can pull you outside the designated snorkel/swim area and into boat traffic / rocks. If you do get caught in the rip current, grab hold of the bouy lines (that is used to mark the snorkel/swim area) and pull your self back to shore using the lines.

Too many people. Difficult to snorkel. Go near the shipwreck is much better. Along the way can see a few turtles popping their heads.

This is a marvelous marine park in Redang. You don't have to go far in to see fish swimming by. As long as you have bread in your hands, the fish will come flocking! If anything, it gets a bit too crowded with travellers from around the island, but nonetheless a great time will be had by all. I don't... More
