Our hotel was just around the area. We walked there after check-in and it was so quiet at night. On another day , when we were going on the cruise , the waterfront was so quiet! Only a few stalls around selling the Ramly burger.

Nothing much to do beside walking and sitting there and have a chitchat with your friends. There are few stalls that sell souvenirs and snacks along the sidewalk. Me and my friends took the boat ride to the other side of the river and pay rm1/person.

The esplanade is not far from the main Kuching CBD. There are lots of souvenir shops across the road from it. It’s a nice walk and a good way to orientate yourself in the city. The river seems a bit murky. We went on a cruise and it was an enjoyable way to see a bit of the city from... More

We went around 9am. with my two kiddos. I must say, this place are clean, less people during morning time. I love all the old trees and river view. There's a few activities offer at esplanade. the river cruise is between rm20 for adult and RM10 for kids. The air is clean. There;s also a few stall selling food and drinks.

The path is well kept and clean, river is not the cleanest but it is still nice to take a walk along and relax and check out the sights of the city.

The Esplanade is a nice place to go for a stroll along the river. There are kiosks all along, so you can buy food, drinks, souvenirs, etc. The place becomes lively in the evening.

I always take a walk there whenever I am in Kuching.I like the environment there.Treat it as an exercise or just a leisure to enjoy the site and sound (the street performers). You can cross the river in one minute's time with the boat. Enjoy a meal at the food court there with all the local delicacies. The night view from... More

Our hotel was along the riverwalk. The path is well maintained. The river is dirty but the view is still nice. It's a nice way to get around without worrying about traffic.

Enjoyed exploring the shops but they do close early about 6pm. We found some lovely wooden drinks coasters and pan stands made out of rubber wood that we have stuck felt to the underside of which are a real talking point. Unika Borneo was just of the main shopping part turn right when facing the Tua Pek Kong Temple and... More
