Catch the boat from the base of the tower on Kuching Promenade to the wharf between the Astana and the State Legislative building. Then follow the signs. Google maps took us on a wild goose chase, and the address on TA is incorrect.

Either by road of by boat across the river to the opposite side of the esplanade/waterfront of the Sarawak River. The park has different species of Orchids being planted around the area. Some in the Green House. The size... More

Almost exclusively Vanda cultivars. I would have loved to see the collection house native species. Boat ride a-x river, nice short walk to garden past parliament house and other buildings worth viewing. Mind blown over Licuala orbicularis palm

We were welcomed by friendly staff, the place was clean and well-cared for, the flowers were blooming, and no entrance fee! After spending a lot on various attractions in Kuching, we were grateful for something free yet awesome. A must visit for flower-lovers.

We were a little cautious about what to expect after several reviewers saying March and April must be out of season with few blooms but having been left looking for something to do after discovering the botanical trails at Semenggoh Orang-utan Centre are no longer open we decided to chance it. We got a water taxi across from the waterfront... More
