We didn't make the trek up the mountain due to time constraints, but we enjoyed the park. Got a chance to hike to a waterfall and then stopped for something cool to drink at the restaurant near the hot springs. We wish that we had more time to spend here. With my family, including two young boys. We had a great time at the National Park. Spent the night at Peak Lodge inside the Park itself. Fairly basic, but very comfortable with all facilities, and it was surreal to have a huge open fire lit at night as the temperature dropped - especially as that morning we had been broiling... more

I did the all day trip to Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Springs (separate review). It was very beautiful. I didn't feel I could do the climb to the top, but the day trip was nice.
